Stupid Files: MS Web DVD module: mswebdvd.dll 199 KB It allowes playin directly of DVD's on website now if I know my stuff.. I think u need at least a VERY steady 3 or 4mbit i-net connection, and even then.. internet sends in packets, its not really a stream.. u have to buffer as well.. no way possible yet.
  4. before people are gonna use xpize with their cd's. how is it done? I mean. u slipstream the ryanvm hotfix pack.. then xxx.dll is replaced by a fixed xxx.dll coss of a hotfix. then if u slipstream xpize stuff.. will u have the fixed file's? in other words, has the maker of the xpize stuff used ryanvm's pack as base for his imagestring hacks? coss otherwise I'm installing ryanvm's stuff for nothing. I'm gonna double post this in the nLite forum coss I want an answer really fast
  5. if u go to like mininova.org u see azureus is most downloaded I also use that client
  6. go make screenshots of high definition divx/xvid movies, you will see that the divx and xvid codec have better quality and lower cpu activity. and about the lower cpu activity, thats really usefull, cant even watch HD divx at school with ffdshow.. cpu at 100%
  7. searched in the registry for every vmware thing there was then in device manager deleted that stuff then in c:\documents and settings\user\application data\vmware then in c:\documents and settings\user\local settings\application data\vmware n still cant install the new one
  8. I had the same problem and I also had allready deleted that key.. and much more.. no luck yet
  9. I'm busy with a bundle of some packs of people, n stripped out things...n I uninstallt ffdshow.. it just takes to much cpu power.. ftp://ftp.heise.de/pub/ct/spezial/shuttle.mpg try to play that one with ffdshow, ur cpu usages goes sky high, with my filters, it just stays at 23% same with other formats. been testin thoroughly n all this is workin when u remove wmp9 wmp6.x AND the codecs from nLite
  10. thats rather.. wierd..
  11. mtv.com doesnt work here yet Wot did I install: The lastest Zoomplayer WMV Professional. I am able to view WMVHD content, wma, wmv n other things.
  12. ur not really a hacker r u.. recommending windows firewall :/ where r the ip traceback programs u should recommend? or advanced portcheckers/closers
  13. nod32 got the most awards overal, but the last month kaspersky came out best according to wildvirus capturing tests (the scanners had to get the virus without it being n their database) anyway... keep antivirus in the antivirus thread
  14. Shareaza.. (tweaked ofcourse gives about 30% more speed) its good for my bittorrents at 200kb/s (same went with azureus also at 200kb/s) it downloads most songs via the limewire & gnutella 2 network at great speed.. and the ultra rare files are taken from the edonkey network and ofcourse I'm always in a metalhub being OP in LDC++ on the dc++ network
  15. "and it seems be OK" yeh coss the chance u get attack in 1 on 100.000 I got a router with the firewall disabled, but to get through a router u have to know quite some things, n if u know that, ur not gonna attack people at home but companies... I think firewalls on homepc's like mine are pointless
  16. hehe yeh nuhi, tell us a bedtime story, the one where u came up with the name "nLite"
  17. yo xp addict , any idea when a new version is coming out?
  18. I'm always busy with lil programs n downloading n testing sh*t...n Fprot always go those lil programs.. now I got kaspersky.. no probs.. hmm I choose kaspersky coss I'm not sencing any performence slow-down.. might be coss I tweaked me pc and got sata.. n I rarely get virusses .. as far as my expierence.. norton, kaspersky, panda n fprot all are the same... but the things I read on the net is that kaspersky is the best..
  19. if u own a shop.. u must know some things about virusscanners and 1 thing is that heuristics are very important.. esspecialy today, last year being the year of the virusses... then why choose nod above kaspersky?
  20. pass fail ratio is bulls***.. u should check the pass fail ratio of last 4months or so... wot if ur favo scanner passed 30 tests since 2 years, n failed all tests from the last 5 months.. then its 30/5 but the virusscanner is just crap
  21. I've been checkin this topic for quite some time n happy to see that kaspersky is goin higher n norton is goin lower kaspersky all teh way
  22. my file fragment was 8.. and I just formatted 2 days ago hehe
  23. I have to confess I was so stupid to even use systemworks 2 years ago *bows head in shame* [edit] wots wrong with systemworks? oh nothing much accept the f*ckin amount of memmory it takes for all its services.. while it doesnt even give quality [/edit]
  24. its does defrag it.. though it doesnt bring it to the edge of the harddrive for faster acces... perfect disk en diskeeper are doing that I'm now download perfect disk.. to check it out... I just formated and installed loads of s***, I looked at it with O&O and its a mess but I wont defrag it with O&O.. I wanna check if perfect disk really moves the mft to the front
  25. @ a moderator I think a moderator has to reset the poll because of 4 things: Kaspersky is growing real fast Norton antivirus was great until 2002.. but in 2003 it got slower.. and in 2004 is even slower and it tends to detect fewer virusses in several tests done by AV testers... also f-prot is starting to show potential and norman is getting populair every day too.. **** for example.. I wouldnt dare to vote kaspersky when the poll started.. but now I would vote it without a doubt
