My vote goes to O&O Defrag, but I think that will change..O&O Defrag latest version is 6 months old.. Diskeeper and Perfect Disk just released a new version with features that O&O doesnt have yet… although O&O was the best one when this poll started.. Perfect Disk is now the best one.. (with just 1 extra feature, metadata defrag) based on this thread: O&O Defrag V6.5 Professional Edition (v6.5) 17 votes Perfect Disk V6 (v6.0) 12 votes Diskeeper 9 Professional (v9.0 build 504) 12 votes But then again 80% of the votes were made when Diskeeper and Perfect Disk didnt have there newest version out... So if those people were to test the other 2 programs now.. perfect disk would probably take the lead So based on the facts: Perfect disk is the best followed directly! by Diskeeper then comes O&O defrag /me is gonna test perfect disk now.. O&O doest defrag the mft and the meta date... perfect disk does now

as I mensioned before, I have the wifi-b add-on card for my Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe... I found the drivers for the chip, but I my connection keeps breaking up until I install the wireless utility and wireless service with it... however, my situation is abnormal.. I'm living in a house in the attic..and the floors are made of reinforced concrete.. so my signal strength is only 20% I could give u the 5 driver files for my card, but as soon as ur card ISNT on the same floor as your wireless router.. AND u have very thick walls.. u have to install the asus utility and the asus wireless service I'll post the drivers as soon as I'm home

toe cutter, if u saw the posts here... download the tweak package here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=27911&st=0 take the onces out that u dont want, make a file cmdlines.txt, place that in \$OEM$ on ur xpcd and put this in cdmlines.txt: [COMMANDS] "REGEDIT /S regtweaks.reg" this will make every tweak to the default user as well and is A LOT easier to do then that guide AND some tweaks cannot be applied in default user, so ur guide wouldnt work, and this guide here will if u wanna doublecheck this way http://unattended.msfn.org

I meant was.. when u decide after 1 week to add another user... u used HKC_CURRENTUSER tweaks.. and when u make another user after a week.. the template of default user is used... so u got a user which isnt tweak I didnt read in the way u thought I read it but I didnt read it, but I did read it correctly u just didnt read correctly wot I wrote ur turn

I read that, but appearently that guy wants the users he make's AFTER an install to be tweaked as wel.. so I explained to him wot he could do.. and sorry if I offended you in anyway but I still think tweaks are good for everyone and the default template for a user in the registry should be tweaked.. instead of the user tree's...

@ShakeNotStirr you could just save ur regfile, and after u add a new user and execute the regfile once its just 3sec work or if u have time to spare: u c that DigitalAZ puts his tweaks in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ now I'm sure DigitalAZ is een nice guy but indeed, the tweaks only apply to the logged in user which isnt very handy there is a default tree in the registry which is copied if u make a new user, so if u would tweak the default tree, then every user u add would b tweaked... now I dont know if all current user tweaks can be set in default.. so u have to check urself if a key exsists in the default tree..which is located, here: HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT give it a shot I hope this helps [edit] so [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop] "WallPaper"="C:\\Windows\\Web\\Wallpaper\\Bliss.bmp" would be [HKEY_USER\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop] "WallPaper"="C:\\Windows\\Web\\Wallpaper\\Bliss.bmp"

hmm, also put in links for servicepack 1a because there are a lot of people with problems with sp2 and there's a big huge memory problem I have 380mb of memory, so the amount of free space is of the upmost importance... nLite installed slipstreamed sp1a dumped the s*** I didnt want driver install 120mb in memory when windows boots nlite installed slipstreamed sp2 dumped the same s*** I didnt want + no firewall sp2 + security center gone driver install 160mb in memory when windows boots :| i'm quite a pro in nLite installs, tweaks and repairing pc's but it seemed all services took a lil more memory, explorer took A LOT more memory so for people who want to use nlite because in the end the system requirements would be less high... take sp1a + hotfixes instead of sp2 just an idea

hi I thought my story was a little hard to follow.. I mean.. If I install the drivers from my cd, I get a the standard drivers.. the setup-program, a control center, and a wizardprogram... now my question is.. with ur "driver"pack will that include Drivers, or drivers, programms wizzards etc.?!? because I need the wizard to change from windows wifi service to asus serivce.. the settingsprogram for the chennel incryption etc... and the controlcenter for statistics if my connection is good or not I hope u understand my question now a lilttle better..

I have a Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard.. and also the WiFi-b add-on card which can also be used as an acces point. But I just use it to connect to another accespoint... if u can find the drivers will this include the settings program too? and I'm wondering with the sound driverspack, if u use that pack.. will u get the SoundHQ setup program and Surround mixer programs as well? because I know of a way to install unattende drivers in the $OEM$\$1\Drivers dir.. but how can u install the setup aswell? pff its hard to explain... i try again when I use those packs, will it give me the programs in the systray too? u know where u can do the settings etc. coss I tried it with a soundblaster live driver.. and it would only give me the drivers and 2.1 sound... I could find a program to set it to 5.1 long story I hope u understand it...alas.. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
