ermmm... i dont mean you have to tell me now immediality.... and also maybe you dont understand: i am talking about 2 cd. one for my pc which have SB Live! 1024 and one for my friend dell pc which have SB 5.1 digital. and with "my method" i dont mean the way of installing 5.1 but such as if cxtapxx.exe /s (cant remember me very well)

i have found the rightest working method i see several times talking about setup.iss but when looking in the driver directory i dont notice any setup.iss so i thought it was only included for other soundblaster driver and this one dont have. but now i understand i have to create by myself i hope this information help other people, this works fine for a soundblaster 5.1 digital (dell) please note there is a BIG difference with the driver for 1024 and 5.1 digital (dell). the 5.1 driver have one subdirectorie and running setup.exe will install EVERYTHING (such as controlpanel, mixer, diagnostic, driver and go so on) For 1024 you have to create more lines and commands to install everything. i have the same card as you too, Sound Blaster Live! Player 1024 and please let me show your method. my method never works and i have deleted it.

i am searching and searching and searching for a switch for soundblaster driver. the search here really sucks... soundblaster=no result, sound blaster=worm blaster result, Soundblaster= give me the result i am searching for but no useable switches (i mean not for my driver). why is the search casesentive? it is a OEMCD so the cd is only for one pc. i have try the follow switches /QB /QN /S /SILENT /? -S i also use the USSF switchfinder and it replies to me with error unknown format. i am gonna mad now, who can help me?

what do you think to use winrar to extract them??

someone who is explore problems: be sure first install framework before extracting SP1.1 otherwise youre not able to extract. before testing your selfmade packet be sure you have framework uninstalled otherwise Windows Update is saying you dont have installed framework 1.1SP1 which is included in your packet... also data1.cab is mistyped, it must be netfx.cab

windows use the inf to check out any matches with the system, and also check if this is newer than the version which is included in windows ( for SP2 prath say many times it is 56.XX ) also check if it is WHQL certified. sounds very logically??

GJ means the driver is installing but the control panel wont.... thats why he want to create a 4.8 msi installer.

i think he means the standard folder in favorites which cant removed without a regtweak. in dutch it is called favorieten>koppelingen. in english i dont know the right name...

I'm not sure why exactly but no matter what I did it couldn't find the name of the user. net user /delete ASPNET and this works for me. but the url i give i noticed last week and i think this is a better way to solve the logonproblem....

You sure about that? I don't think it does, and the version they update in the netfx.cab is 1.0 still, not to 1.1 if I'm not mistaken. i am not sure, so i say "i believe" edit: i cant find proof to show the framework is included. i have read it somewhere but i cant find back. maybe i have misread it.

i believe framework 1.1 is included in SP2..... so no need to integrate it again. that example you show us is for who have SP1 which dont include framework 1.1

You'll need to tell me everything you installed. Either the build on my PC is higher then yours (possible, fixing bugs) or I dunno. I just selected Full Install, and it works fine. as my quote above says, I even tried creating a directory with the same name you said you're was. I"ll see about uploading the newer MSI laterhehe... i alreaddy say it in your old thread alanoll. if you dont point the output, there will be no sound out winamp. so this line is very important: Xextra=1 without that you only see the song titles but hear nothing simply because the output is not installed...
