how often do you defrag the machine? and what do you defrag it with?

it has two cd drives in the front, and fdd, soon ill add a playstation pad socket to the second fdd bezel and a baybus, maybe a digidoc 5 and a baybus.. althought that might be silly as the digi doc does fan speeds, ill have to see what fans it can control and how well. later ill need to add switches for the pump system for the oil cooling and neons ill be adding..... chair is nasty staples job yup

tom if you post your specific problems, we can try help you, we might just suprise you, i understand if its getting you so pi$$ed, $200 and id be pi$$ed! we should probably be able to help you sort it out though, most of the problems people post get solved, theres some pretty clever people browsing these forums, they know a lot. post up your problems and give us a shot, its what we are here for and (strangely) what we like doing

and we WILL tell you the truth unlike M$ skirting around the issue

cheers rev! not all of M$ patches actually fix the holes or bugs they are supposed to.. some just open new holes or make more bugs unforunately, the IIS patches arent upto scratch for one

i read a letter in a magazine recently, omeone had a simlar problem with winXP. The magazine guys went to all the trouble of setting up two almost identical systems in the office, one did it, one didnt. they decided that as it was only at boot up, to forget it as its not causing you problems using the pc. id agree with that so long as it isnt slowing boot time down drastically, also the flicker bug might be the cause, fixing that may rid you of the boot problem, good luck! they are playing around bobby. ignore it, you must have it up and running by now anyhow no? my ideas would be (id love to do this myself, but my line sucks) include frontpage extensions (well someone must use em) PHP support ASP cgi/perl MYSQL database PHP is the fastest growing scripting language on the net, so it would be wise to include it, you probably are. the amount of sites popping up that use php and a mysql database is amazing, people use it even when theres no apparent reason to... you probably include that lot anyhow but they are my basic ideas, if i think of anything else ill post it, what you need is something original, something others dont provide, that stands you out from the crowd, more people you get, more cash you get, and im asuming you live in an area you can easily increase your bandwidth? anyways, good luck!

To change your task bar will take a hex edit of your theme file, and you will need stylesXP installed, or use windows blinds. you might be able to do it with a registry hack, ill have a see for you...

erm i got this off edonkey weeks ago... boogs your always behind it seems!! im looking for the update patch so i can play it online, i have an account etc, but when i try play online it wants me to instal the patch, but the patch wont install as it knows the main exe file is changed :wail:
