  1. I know that, and you know that, BUT....
  2. whats the bet it will kill all of the other ways of "cracking" XP off? or most of them? will Microsoft get a bumper sales period around SP2?

    Memory Type...

take apart EVERYTHING? what drugz are you on, you just pop the cover off and look, you might have to take the ram stick out to see as on some machines cables and stuff will block your view.. or its just dark inside. Anyway i thought you just rebuilt your machine and put it in a new case....
  4. hapy birthday old guy hope you had a good one... you beter be drunk
  5. old ladies are worst, they drive at 20mph EVERYWHERE (even on the freeway) and they have their face right up to the steering wheel and look through the gaps in the wheel rather than over it, its not as if they are short they just do that for some reason. old people should have to have a plastic cover over the whole steering wheel to make them sit the hell up and look over the wheel.
  6. well, umbro add, its for football gear, they sell allsorts of kit, from footballs to shirts and stuff, they dont just do football kit though.
  7. you will only really notice the speed change when doing things that involve a lot of "crunching" eg: hashing files in edonkey, opening large rar files, unpacking ISO files, etc.
  8. zipp, i can get athlon XP 2100 for about £90 ($155 ?) i paid £128 for mine
  9. What to do with jack russels: http://movies.steakandcheese.com/dogfoot.avi (copy and paste link into browser)
  10. when you install ram you dont have to alter anything or install any software, it would be advisable to change your page file size, but if its system managed (default setting) it will alter itself anyway. just plug it in, turn it on, check its there (my computer > properties. it is listed there) make sure system is stable.. job done.
  11. Try here: http://www.free-php-hosting.com/
  12. i think tha Filer installed it on a 486 and it ran "ok" dont expect miracles though. try it and see, failing XP try win2k. or use XP but turn off the visual styles.
  13. its even got its own police code its so popular. i think its called a 432 or something.
  14. i think thats only in canada? also theres a way round it, the levy only applies to discs called "Cd recordable" and not "Cd-data" discs or something, so buy the data ones. unless you know different?
  15. http://www.musicunited.org/9_parents.html if any site needed hacking, its this, forget RIAA. this site is full of ****! all the recording artists that are all millionares saying things like "when someone downloads a song off the internet its taking money out of my kids mouth" hahahaha - they wouldnt know the meaning of broke. and a few say that mp3 sharing stops new artists getting known! err wake up! infact the opposite! i wonder how many of these fools realise that people generally download a few songs, decide if they like the album or not.. and if the album has more than just 2 good songs on it they might well go out and spend the overpriced amount for the CD. its bad enough here in the UK where CD's generally cost a third more than in the USA, or sometimes even more.. double even.
  16. Tim, is she sat on a llama ??
  17. i stopped using winace because it would have probelms with some rar files and sometimes with zips too, it would give errors or not open the file at all, so i swapped to winrar and all has been fine since. usually i open files by right clicking on them "extract as..." unless im sending a files to a certain directory. not had any trouble since i started using winrar, much beter than winace IMHO.
  18. cant post.. keep getting a sendmail error .. WTF?! Mail Error! Could not sent the email Failed at 'mail' command
  19. its just to do with DNS records.. it will fix itself.

    HELP

    i think we messed with it a little.. but should still work ok. invision board standard <br> <html> <head> <title> <% TITLE %> </title> <% GENERATOR %> <% CSS %> <% JAVASCRIPT %> </head><body bgcolor='#FFFFFF' leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" alink='#000000' vlink='#000000'><% BOARD HEADER %><% NAVIGATION %><% BOARD %><% STATS %><% COPYRIGHT %> </body></html>
  21. Please look in feedback forum... yeah still problems but they should all fix themselves automatically when our old hosts get to work and delete the old MX record for the site. hold tight
  22. yeah its what we have on the network, does same thing, also clears internet history and changes homepage back to what it should be when people log out, it works on win2k.... i cant figure out how on XP pro.. never needed to but ill keep trying. let me know if you figure it out first. failing doing it "properly" you could maybe (i havent tried this yet) edit a file in windows to run the batch file on login/startup... maybe just add it to the regsitry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/windows/Current version/run ??? - not ideal but beter than nothing
  23. Drew! stop encouraging the dirty intel heathen!!!
  24. i guessed the mx records would need to change for the links to work.. thats why i didnt change anything (well.. apart from the image in my sig) i cant change anything either.. CHMOD settings wont allow me to and no FTP yet pretty smooth and quick for a full server move tho... cheers xper, saved us some cash and did all the hard work too, i owe u a beer again.
  25. so far im aware of these: Everytime you close IE and then come back to MSFN it hasnt cookied you properly and you will find your self logged out. the links to guides section, both on the top box and in the nav box in portal page dont work, nor do: Main page, Forums links in top box. image for msfn button on main page doesent work. some avatars dont work. i cant fix any of this just now, no FTP access, and i think some will fix themselves later too... not sure till i talk to xper about it. please post any others if you find them so we can sort it out, thanks folks
