i have 4 80mm fans, 1 90mm and 2 60mm fans for chipset and gpu. the CPU is cooled by a zalman 5500, which is very very quiet, main cause of pc noise, my pc is very quiet, the case plays a big part in sound because of reverberation etc, nice thick steel walls help the PSU is fanless - one of the big causes of noise.

The phone is nothing special on looks, i still like the nokia 8210 tho so... anyway, the camera is schweeeet, i want one!

take the cover off the pc, when the sound starts look at all the fans, are any spinning slowly or anything? it could just be clogged up with dust and crap, if the heatsink on your cou looks dirty get a vac with an attachment and vac it out, or my personal fave - an unused, clean 2" paint brush!

more info would help, how much ram you have? this only happens with IE? have you got some pop up stopper installed? it might need an uninstall of IE and reinstall it, its quite painless and quick to do, just a command prompt and then put the windows XP CD in. but before we get to that it might just be something like your RAM or your Page file size... i expect you have plenty of ram with a P4 system tho... hi ash, ok im not sure how neowin went about it but... heres one way, this was given to me by a friend, Lyndon, so credit to him. i havent tested this yet though. open a command window and using the command: attrib -r -s -h C:\location\of\file you can remove wpf from single files or groups at a time, so in theory: attrib -r -s -h C:\WINDOWS\* Should remove it for all files and folders under the WINDOWS directory. my DOS is a bit "rusty" but that should do the trick.

yes ask xper about uptime and he sends you there to prove you wrong about server crashes hehe we use it from time to time for err... things like checking if the server went offline when the site vanishes etc. you can also find out what a site is running on, OS, software etc by typing the url into the box.

is there a reason it HAS to be for win98? why not use win2k for it... its more stable, win98 needs rebooting every couple of hours or it starts going belly up - not ideal for a server.

temp files at a click. also, all those internet files that dont get removed even when you ask IE to remove ALL stored web content and it doesent. hows this for a feature.. someone will have use for it im sure, any file extension, eg client puts in a file extension in a box, the app searches for all files with that extension and you can then tick which ones to delete, or select delete all - like in your email inbox you would have to make possible for it to search all files and folders OR any directory / location.

nahhh, its an operating system, we have the program already, its not a new one like msn updates, and md5 is breakable, just not easily. for a time PGP was unbreakable, but it can be cracked using a super computer, or if you have a collection of a few hundered machines working together and a lot of time time to crack depending on the bit size of the key.
