Hi. Which kernel32.dll file did you use ? Extended kernel sequence is the following way. * extract %temp%\IXP****.TMP * setup.exe patches to kernel32.dll with some options. * update.exe installs to system32. You should patch it before setup.exe complete with options.

There is well known problem on Web browser with Externded kernel v2.8 and later. There are three ways to resolve the problem. * Not use XP compatible Winsock (It may be requires to reinstall tcp-ip) (Chrome / Firefox) * Check off any "Disabled" functions Vista /Win7. (Chrome) * Change Security soft. ( Perhaps it comes frim any security soft's driver or service )

Hi, did you remain the checkbox “disable Vista mui” ? if you check off it and enabled it , then Windows will go down slowly.

(It is almost resolved) * Chromium and Firefox based web browser will freeze. Regrettably I don't release English version untill fixed them. You may believe that Japanese only version is Beta Test :3 It may be released in March. Hi, caiot5 I recomend v2.8, because some people complain the bugs. But they have not given me enough information , so I can not fix it. Does mscvcp60.dll problem mean "only broken the file "? Extended kernel can install overwrite privious version. But previous version does not have enough files , so remain some extended file and they effect your system. (I allow you install v2.8c after v2.8e. But It seems to have problem that you install v2.7 after v2.8.) >Am I on the right track? That is bad :3 ExKernel requires you completed all important Windows 2000 Update. For example , I think Application and Program in Control Panel should broken.

I think it is easier than support on Ex Kernel that Firefox 54 re-complie with XPLib option.
-
Hi. I think that you can resolve it with extended kernel install options. Did you install with check "excluded Conditionvariable functions" ? # Firefox 54 and later crashes other reason, it accesses fs:[2ch] directly, Windows 2003 and earlier OS set Null Pointer .
