  1. You have to remove the Out-Of-Box-Experience (OOBE) from the install CD using nLite. If you're having any other issues, I suggest you post your Last_Session.ini file.
  2. What did you use to slipstream SP3 and under what operating system did you slipstream it? Are you using a retail, OEM, or VLK copy of XP?
  3. [ Moved. ]
  4. What did you use to integrate the service pack and under what operating system did you integrate it?
  5. That's what I thought.Jedi-to-be, consider this your last and only warning. We don't support software illegitimately obtained (i.e., leaked). [ Closed. ]
  6. [ Threads merged. ] Please do not create multiple topics in different forums regarding the same subject.
  7. Looks like you're not alone: http://www.eggheadcafe.com/community/aspne...er-8-loses.aspx Give that a try and see how it goes. Have you tried accessing Google sites in compatibility mode instead?
  8. Have you looked at, tried, and/or considered using Microsoft Office Project?(Disregard this post as you mentioned in your duplicate post the Project is overkill.)
  9. This won't work on all computers as the HAL will most likely be incompatible with other hardware. In addition, the computers you use will all have to support booting from USB (most modern hardware supports it, though). What you'd probably want to do is boot Windows PE from a USB drive. I'm not too familiar with the process, but a quick forum search will probably help you find the answer.
  10. It all depends on how it's setup. If you use Exchange, your mail and calendars would post likely be stored on the Exchange server. A quick Google search will help you find an appropriate solution.
  11. I don't get it. What are you asking/trying to say?
  12. Unfortunately, it can't be purchased for commercial use at this time. The alternative is, well, doing everything manually or using some of the other member contributed projects (if any) which *might* not have restrictions similar to nLite's (though, I can't really think of any off the top of my head). http://unattended.msfn.org might be able to help you out with some of the stuff you might have to do.
  13. Already being discussed here. Please use the forum's search function. [ Closed. ]
  14. You do realize nLite is for personal, non-commercial use, right?
  15. Have you ruled out a faulty Ethernet cable? Prior to installing Windows 7, what operating system did you have installed (if any) and did you have a similar problem? At first glance, it would seem to me that your half-open TCP connections are getting maxed out, but after doing some further reading, it seems that the connection limit has been removed from Windows 7, though, I can't be too sure of this (can someone confirm?).
  16. DreamSkape, it seems to me that you are using IE since you mentioned that you're using the Google Toolbar (although, there is one for Firefox) and since you posted this in the XP forum. If so, what version are you using? If not, what browser are you using?
  17. This topic is still going? In that case, I'm listening to the sound of a few dozen servers' fans humming behind me.
  18. Same. Apparently it was only supposed to be available to a "select few." I sent them an e-mail anyways to see if they can add it back.
  19. Links removed and user banned as per vLite forum rules, rule 1b, and clause 2 of vLite's license. [ Closed. ]
  20. 404 - Looks like they decided to remove it. Edit: Hehe, people will do anything for free software (hammering included ).

  22. Yes and no. The quote I inserted into my post refers to a running system, simply to demonstrate that service packs for XP are cumulative. However, slipstreaming SP3 into an already-slipstreamed XP w/ SP2 CD will allow the end-user to install XP onto a system without actually using a product key (similar to the way Vista gets installed). Trust me, I've done my own searching (and found the thread you're referring to), and from what I understand (and from my own experience), slipstreaming SP3 into XP Gold results in an ISO that requires you to input your product key during installation, whereas slipstreaming SP3 into XP Gold with SP2 already slipstreamed results in an ISO (albeit bigger) that allows you to install XP without your product key.Edit: These guys can explain it better than I can: http://www.howtofixcomputers.com/forums/wi...sp3-155154.html
  23. My Windows disc doesn't even have SP1, can I slipstream SP3 without slipstreaming SP2 first? From here: In other words, yes, you can, but you will not have the ability to install XP without a product key (like Vista) unless you slipstream SP3 into a copy of XP that already has SP2 slipstreamed into.
