Unfortunately not. You had to be online to post the topic, therefore get the make and model of your PCI card and shoot on over to the respective manufacturers website to download the drivers. Once you've done that you can copy it to CD or Stiffy and install the drivers on your PC. Note: If you can't find the driver at the manufacturers website then your next best bet is DriverGuide.com.

I think it would be stupid of MS not to release SP5 for Win2000. They should release SP5 with all the extra features that have been released with XP SP2, eg. Windows Firewall, Security Center and the changes to IE6.

ok, I stumbled upon these forums looking for something entirely different and I was hooked immediately. The first thing that struck me was the simplicity and informative-ness (is that a word ) of MSFN. Then I signed up and what also struck me was the helpfulness and friendliness of the members. I am a prominant member (well, I like to think I am ) of a local forum in South Africa, and they have a similar feel to MSFN. The friendliness and simplicity is what appeals to me. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MSFN!!!!

Hi all I'm trying to find out whether one of my users are infected by a virus, and I was looking through his running processes and there are 2 that are bothering me slightly. spinSnmpAgent.exe TunnelVision.exe There are any extra programs running in the system tray other than Audio, AVG Anti-virus and Open Office. I've looked for these suspect processes on google and some virus websites, but I can't find any info on them. I hope somebody can help here.

Hi all I would like to find out if Nero 5 supports over burning. I know nero 6 does. The reason I ask is because I bought some 800MB writable CD's and in order to write to these CD's your CD-Writer and writing software needs to support Disk-at-Once and overburning. My current CD-Writer and software does not support oveburning. So I am buying a CD-Writer, but only Nero 5 is being supplied with the writer, so I would like to know if nero 5 support overburning. It could be a problem with your sound and video drivers. Did you update your ATi drivers lately? But that error from the first post definitely looks like it's got something to do with the driver.

Yes that's right max, but that's also only if the user is a computer administrator. I changed my user to a Power User and it automatically came up with the Administrator and the user's login on the Welcome Screen So, from suggestions that I've had from this forum and others is to either install TweakUI or use the control userpasswords2 from the run command.

Try to find an updated driver? Maybe it could also be RAM, like hitman's problem.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I installed Tweak UI yesterday and it worked, but I think for future use I will use that CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 command so I don't have to install TweakUI on the clients' machines. Thanks again

Does this screen come up when you are busy in Windows? When it boots up? When you do something in particular? Or just intermittent?
