As stated everywhere (!) the release date is April 29th for all languages except asian . You can already find it on many sites. OOBE is still here in SP3 but you can skip/remove it with nLite.

If you use a cd-rw you can't overburn. If you don't want to remove anything you could use a cd-r with a slight overburn (only if it's 10-20 MB) or a DVDR(W) if it's more than that. The best solution IMO is to remove unneeded things like windows tour (takes a lot of space!) msn explorer; and maybe asian fonts. Then your image will fit on a cdrw. A last tip: do NOT use Nero for burning the image, but IMGBurn ( freeware)

3.96.8 is out since the beginning of March By the way, you don't have the need to install it; since you only have to launch it one or two times in your installation "lifetime"! just use the zip archive from the official site; if you absolutely want to install it you can make an 7zip or winrar autoexec archive. edit: rado have make an addon for 3.96.8 http://www.winaddons.com/xp-antispy-3968/ but i still think you will not need an "install" for this.....

do the DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime AddOn - 0.3.3 by red XII works with nLite or just with RyanVM 1.5.1 ?

SP3 isn't final yet so it's hard to tell but the latest beta is a little faster than sp2

sort the hotfixes by build dates; the most recent at the bottom then insert wmp11 and .net; and all the addons you want (be sure to install .net first if you install that use the .net framework)

You can disable the SFC (google...) and the popups will vanishes.

Do not remove any services; only remove unneeded things like msn explorer etc... and after nliting your XP source integrate the drivers on this site http://driverpacks.net/DriverPacks/ (especially mass stotrage) and your CD will be universal !

Quick and easy fix: Disable the SFC (sytem file protection).

In fact IE is not needed anymore: you can integrate Firefox and/or Opera with nLite..... The only need are for Windows Update and activeX applications. Feedback : no problems on nLite 1.4; great app !

I have made a XP PRO SP2 fr + all security patches with nLite 1.4rc2 + some addons and i have two bugs : First: the infamous SFC message (tcpip.sys and Uxtheme.dll patched by nLite) pop-up every time a new hardware is detected. second: the "HID input service" is impossibe to start (not removed by nLite) and I can't install any usb mouse or KB. Not true; you can install directly Vista upgrade and insert any XP cd when it ask for.
