  1. Hi Guys, Wondering if you can help me. I have Windows 7 Professional (32 bit) and was wondering if anyone has a ini file for me to use so I can try make a slimed down version for my old Acer Tablet Laptop. The laptop i have is the Acer Travelmate C110 and it has a Intel Pentium M 1ghz processor. I have been trying on my own and have tried several times without luck using VirtualBox. I always seem to leave something out that Windows needs to install. The basic functionality that the laptop will be used for is mostly like a netbook, used for internet surfing on holidays and the occasional movie. Ta
  2. Hi Guys, Well I have a Dell Latitude Laptop (Model - CPx, PIII 500, 192MB Ram, 10G Disk, CD Rom). I decided to convert it to a LCD Picture Frame. So I was looking to install an OS onto it. I have looked at Linux, but that is a bit too much for me, I'm not that technically minded. So I found nLite and want to know if someone can help. I also have my old XP Pro SP2 CD (Now using Vista). I have managed to install XP onto the laptop and all works fine. But it's too big, if you know what I mean. OK So I basically want to remove everything except for the basic OS. So I don't want IE, Network support, Outlook and anything else on the OS. I have a picture screen saver called "gPhoto Show" which I want to install to the startup folder, so it starts up when the lappy boots. I also have a free program call "Wake up on Standby", which can set the laptop to hibernate and restart at times of my choosing. I want to transfer my pics from USB pen drive. So this is what I want, XP OS Extreme Lite that can start up and hibernate, USB drive support so I can copy files to a specific folder, So it must obviously support the Mouse, On Board Graphics, no sound as I don't see the point. So I haven't really got a clue what I must remove from XP to make it Extremely small... So it just has Mouse, Graphics and really basic OS with USB support, nothing else... Can someone point me in the right direction... Thanks...
