Is anyone going to do anything about this? It's really frustrating. I can give you an example of wrong behavior of this function: Let's say I start Opera ay 7AM at home, do not visit the forums at all, close Opera, go to work, and when I open the forums there, the link says "new content since today, 7AM". This is WRONG. It did work before the last style changes here. Please investigate. Please.

There is no such option after all. Tried flashing in DOS too, and the problem is I can't get through, because the IDs do not match (blank vs whatever). **** mystery.

Thanks for the tip. I will try to search for such features again. What puzzles me is why is the BIOS not reporting at all. The PC is working normally outside of this particular thing.

I got a real WTF?! situation here. Recently a no longer used PC from our customer ended up here and while I was routinely checking it, I found out none of the diagnostic utilities I use (HWInfo32, CPU-Z, AIDA64...) was able to identify the board or BIOS at all. After some digging in the PC's guts (hell I hate desktops, especially these slim ones) I found out the board was Intel D945GCNL. Allright, so I went to Intel's site and downloaded latest BIOS fro the board. Ran the file... and ooops! Error message saying it's not possible to continue as it's not for this board. Are you kidding?! Tried few other (older) ones with same result. Ok , something stinks here, I thought. Downloaded the recovery BIOS image, placed it on a flash drive, removed jumper from the board as recovery instructions said, rebooted and... and nothing. Jeez. I have no idea what is wrong here. I can't even see the BIOS version in the BIOS itself! That field is completely blank. Anyone has any idea?

7CustomizerLive - Live Windows 7 Customization
Octopuss replied to blue4603's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
So is this successor to 7C or is this independant project? -
Newer version of Opera doesn't work either. Basically I can't check new content at all since the new style

I am looking for such list. Is there any? I found a few threads here and there, but whatever I downloaded was english only

Blue, small change request: In removal section, when you check the box for whole category, all items inside should be checked automatically too. Similarly, iIf you go at it from inside, when you finally check all of them, the main one should be selected as well. When you deselect all the stuff, have that category box unchecked as well. Optional goodie: when only some of the components within a category are selected, make it show by having different kind of graphics in the category checkbox. I think vLite did this nicely - all components selected - standard tick, only some of them - dot, square or something. My english really sucks in mornings

How do you mean? I admit it looks a little bit "bloaty" and seems somewhat slow, but that's about it. It's only an impression, too. rt7lite is very crude and clunky... While it removes many things it left quite a bit of junk laying around. Plus like you said it is VERY slow... Remember it's still in RC state... I am looking forward to 7Customizer after Blue started developing it again.

You have at least two viable options. Maxxpsoft's weird chaotic tool and then Bensam56's RT7lite. Both will get the job done. There is no point in vLite at all.

Well, it used to work correctly for me too, so Opera was not a problem, but after the switching to new style it's "fubar". I really don't know. I don't have the knowledge to test what's causing it either. All I know is I am using Opera 10.63 and the link is not working for me.
-
Any updates? It's still not working at all. I just opened the forums minute ago and new content link says "... since 9:32 today", which is nonsense. One interesting thing though, 9:32 is roughly the time I started Opera. I didn't have MSFN opened in any tab though.

How could you kill two SSDs? I read from several sources you'd have to keep constantly writing at full speed for weeks nonstop in order to kill a SSD.

Say what?
