  1. You could give the Dell driver a go. You can find it here: ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/audio/R107057.EXE Cheers
  2. Another very handy msi extractor (can just unpack from the msi), is Less MSIérables. Works very nicely. Cheers
  3. Whoops....sorry about that. I forgot to mention you had to use an extra switch with memdisk. you need to specify "raw" from my isolinux.cfg: label 8 kernel memdisk append raw initrd=/utils/images/boot/bootme.zip Cheers
  4. The later versions of MemDisk support WinME bootdisks just fine. If you use one of the older versions you'll get the hanging screen. Get the latest memdisk here.
  5. You can use the recovery cd from True Image 9 w/ CDShell the same as any other bootable Acronis product: if $lastKey == key[1]; then isolinux /kernel.dat rw vga=788 acpi=off initrd=/ramdisk.dat /s ramdisk_size=25600 quiet For True Image 9, you just need to make the RAMDisk size bigger than 20Mb. You can get the kernel.dat and ramdisk.dat file from the install directory. Cheers
  6. Try using memdisk instead of bcdw. Cheers
  7. So is there any way to add switches to the executables (without using PHP)? Cheers edit.. And how do you change the image at the bottom? (the one with all the windows logos)
  8. Yeah...it has to have .img for a floppy image. You can just rename .ima to .img The newer memdisk builds (last 6 months or so) also support zipped images. Cheers
  9. You can put them wherever you want. Although it would look something like this: if $lastKey == key[?]; then isolinux /NTPASS/vmlinuz rw vga=1 init=/linuxrc initrd=/NTPASS/initrd.gz root=/dev/ram0 source=/dev/cdrom/0 Be sure to change the ? to an actual key. Cheers
  10. if $lastKey == key[?]; then isolinux /vmlinuz rw vga=1 init=/linuxrc initrd=/initrd.gz root=/dev/ram0 source=/dev/cdrom/0 Cheers
  11. You can get a txt file with most of the labels here. I just uploaded an updated version. Cheers
  12. Updated... Cheers LABELS.TXT
  13. The same configuration should work for all the Acronis products. Cheers
  14. You can find both utilities in the following post on the MSFN forums http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=22645 Cheers **I've fixed the links in my posts for netuser.exe. I'll fix the renuser.exe one as soon as I can up it to my site.
  15. SAV 10.0.1 is out now and should fix that nasty startup scan problem. Cheers
  16. Just follow the guide here. It's pretty self-explanatory. Cheers
  17. You might want to check and see if there is a BIOS update for your board (try calling if you have to). My 8 CPU Iwill system wouldn't even let me install x64 Windows until I got the latest BIOS from them (they even said they had tested installing x64 Windows...utter BS as the Final, RC and Beta installs all failed at the same point). Now its happily chugging along under Windows Server 2003 Enterprise x64 and seeing all of its 16Gb of memory. Cheers
  18. Maryland does an academic volume license deal with Microsoft. The software discs are Volume media for Office, Windows and Visual Studio .NET is also included in the deal. You get to keep the license to the software when you leave, the only restriction being that you can't resell it. I would imagine yours is most likely a volume license as well. Cheers
  19. Yes
  20. Any particular reason you don't want to use diskpart?
  21. FSum does MD5 among many others and is free too.
  22. Did you try just using GhostScript and RedMon? That combo has worked good for all the documents I've thrown at for the past 2 years. Cheers
  23. Yeah...it downloaded pretty fast for me too. The x64 Editions of Windows are also downloading at a very nice clip from MSDN too
  24. Windows Server 2003 Standard x64 Edition Windows Server 2003 Enterprise x64 Edition Windows XP Professional x64 Edition All were RTMd today and can be downloaded from MSDN for those with subscriber access. Cheers
  25. Get it Here. Cheers
