  1. Product Name: HP PSC 2510 Summary: Ftp print service is not configurable This printer comes with an ftp daemon which allows anonymous access, and drops the user into a write only directory. By default anyone from anywhere can drop a file into this directory and the printer will print the document. There is no documentation about this feature, nor is there anyway to change (enable/disable) it via any of their software or on the printer itself. HP Tech. support says that if you don't want this feature then you should hook up the printer as a local printer, however this printer comes with both wireless and wired connectors on the back. 2. Sure does. Send me a B-Day card with $20 bucks in it and I'll hook you up with a free account for 2 months...hehe Thanks guys for all the wishes.
  3. Your to funny. It did catch my attention...hehehehe Thanks. edit: I hate baseball. Nascar all the way!
  4. Point is over 3,800 wrong votes, yet over 155,000 provisional ballots uncounted in a state that determines our president. That sir is a valid statement.
  5. Our starts on black friday.
  6. http://atomfilms.shockwave.com/af/content/whatbarrysays This one was very interesting. The only thing that bothers me is when videos like this are made it dictates "They don't care about anyone else but themselves". I hate it when such an item is made and places all Americans together. We have no control over our government which places us at the mercy of their decision. Sucks! But the flick was very correct in a lot of statements.

  8. My original comment was made doing a traceroute to your main site and NO I am not bashing you. As I said when someone comes in and makes a comment about "x company being the best" the word "best" carries a high level of commitment. Many things make the word "best" relevant such as support, uptime, ratio on replies from support to clients, updates, security, prices, features, content of website and much more. Such a company would be 1&1. When they hit the USA market and offered free hosting everyone and their mother thought they were the best but NO ONE stopped and read their SLA or TOS to see the small print regarding their domain name or hosting account. I have at least 30-40 clients who came from 1&1 and have heard the horror stories. What data center you are in doesn't always determine the traceroute results. You could have a great data center and get good traceroutes but your server could be misconfigured. Firewall misconfigurations and apache misconfigurations is a prime example. A normal traceroute is around 30-45. Also I do not do traceroutes from our main computers at the office. A good source of scripts which should be used can be found at http://www.traceroute.org Anyways good luck.
  9. Competition? Are you kidding me? With half the links broken on his company website and the other half web pages with content in like: I hardly call that competition. And several of the templates can be seen on www.templatemonster.com. I don't bash other companies or other people trying to get started but when someone comes in MSFN and says "this company is the best" and half the website is 404 I have a hard time swallowing that concept. WebDog - Throw some IPs up to traceroute, why don't yah?
  10. Actually invision is no longer free from version 2.0 and up. I spoke with them today and anyone caught using it will receive a ceased and desist order.
  11. Ive always felt it should be "<<crap>>" instead of "<<spam>>".
  12. I don't think $80 bucks is a lot for something I use 15-18 hours a day Well worth it in my eyes.
  13. Yes of course I have sigs viewable. I have to make sure no one else is trying to steal my advertisement
  14. I'm a logitech supporter and have always used logitech keyboards and mouses for years. They totally out did themselves on the new MX1000 mouse that uses the laser instead of normal optical. Man this mouse kicks butt! I though I'd share my excitement with everyone else.
  15. xper to the rescue! Most of the time xper and the other admins are so busy trying to keep things running they don't have time to look at the sigs that we every day members have to tolerate. Bring it to their attention and BAM magic happens!
  16. Moderators aren't chosen based on post count. Ain't that the truth.
  17. this is a funny thread.
  18. This is the first idea had but she gave me about 20-25 songs...errr, dear I need a few hours. Anyways my buddy called and said he got his co-partner to cover the party on the 11th so he is taking care of MY party for me now. THANK GOD!
  19. My daughter turns 16 (oh no!) on Dec 9th and we are throwing here a party which is being held at a local fire hall. A friend of mine is a professional DJ but he is already booked for the entire month of December. Now that leaves it up to me. Let's turn this thread into a DJ/B-Day/Dance thread. Anyone can throw me some song titles out that would be good for this? I need about 6 hours of music so any suggested would be great. Keep in mind we are in the USA and most of the teens now a days don't listen to trace/Techno.
  20. Hey I wouldn't mind having that code for emax as a second bandwidth test for clients.
  21. f9cator interesting but glad they fixed what ever the issue was.
  22. You are reaching the data center the server is located but either your ISP IP block is being blocked or the server MSFN is running on has blocked your IP or IP range. As long as you are reaching the data center than there is an issue with the data center routing. Just out of curiosity can you reach http://www.emaxhosting.com from the same machine?
  23. For future reference you can always run a DNS check on any website to get the ip here: http://www.dnsstuff.com/
  24. @prathapml Thank you. I haven't added any tweaks or reg hacks. Also as chrischan said, my toolbar only gives the option for bmp. It's such a pain to have to open a different browser just to save the image. I will try what you and oftentired suggested and see if I can't get firefox to play nice with XP.
  25. I agree 100% about frefox but this is the issue with that: I can set firefox as the default browser but windows complains. One example is when you have a link in outlook and you click it I always get an error. A few other troubles happened when I tried to stay with firefox but I can't recall right now. Trust me when I say I wish firefox would 100% divert to my main browser.
