  1. 1.1.2 used a specific colour to make things transparent - this meant that antialiasing and overlay etc. didn't work too well. 4 uses proper transparency, so antialiasing and whatnot works perfectly. Keep in mind that "guitransparent" doesn't exist any more - use the GFX display plugin instead.

    display question

<hide>true</hide> within the <execute> tag is correct. And I just tested, and it works.
  3. This post is for the benefit of people that have stopped using XPlode, or have never used it before. The dedicated sub-forum can be found here. display question

Works fine for me. The display="..." has to be in the <execute> tag, hopefully that's the only problem.
  5. This has been asked many times before, and while I entertained the idea when developing XPlode2/3, I eventually said no as time did not permit it.
  6. If it's too much for you, then I suggest going back to CMDLINES.TXT.

    display question

I was sure I added this. I remember adding it for webmedic during a discussion on IRC. *checks the code* Well the code is there to do so... what display plug are you using? I'll test it.
  8. XPlode 4.00.5.130 Download at: XPlode downloads. XPlodeOriginalDisplay.x4d XPlodeGFXDisplay.x4d XPlodeSelectDisplay.x4d (using select-checkboxes.html) More Screenshots: http://xplode.voidfx.com/modules/xoopsgallery/ Put all bugs / fixes / suggestions that relate to this release in this thread. Read the docs.pdf - mainly to help you figure out what to do, but also as a proofreading exercise for me Good luck people!
  9. Okay, XPlode is 90% complete - writing docs for it at the moment. No File I/O plugin, still a lot of problems with it, so I'll leave it out for the moment. Expect a release within a few hours.
  10. XPlode 4.00.5.129 Download: http://xplode.voidfx.info/XPlode4.00.5.129.exe Read the EULA for extraction instructions. Read the docs.pdf for instructions on the command line arguments, and how to link it into Windows Setup. Example XML files for the different display plugins can be found in the EXTRACTED\ExampleXML folder. The two HTML files are the bases for the XPlodeSelectDisplay plugin - feel free to modify the scripting and post new ones - they were done quite quickly, and I'm sure people would be able to add dependencies and whatnot. Post any problems, suggestions, or fixes below. I actually need to finish the majority of XPlode's code by tonight, as my employers need it. So think yourselves lucky, XPlode should be out tonight
  11. Of course, if you knew how to code properly, you wouldn't do this in the first place.
  12. what exactly are your requirements? Multiple domains running on cPanel/WHM, with with SSH access and ability to run a couple of bg processes actually. Doesn't particularly matter, site's up... for the moment.
  13. I'm sure you'll all love to know that XPlode is now for my personal use only. I've put many tens of hours into making it suitable for other people's needs, and this is the thanks that I get. If people wish to get XPlode, they will have to email me, as it is now non-public. And seeing as I don't have an immediate need for XPlode on my internal network, there's no need for me to develop it. Don't bother messagnig me unless you're well established within MSFN, or have been a tester for me in the past. So everyone, give IRP a clap. They've successfully showed why I chose not to do computer science at university. Nobody gives a rat's arse what you make.
  14. My old host *seems* to be coming back to stable status... we'll see. And, ASO doesn't support what I need either.
  15. You mean, I need to finish the site, right?
  16. eMax does not support my requirements.
  17. Yes, there are site issues. No, I don't know when it'll be fixed. Yes, I'm looking for a new webhost. --------------- It's been up and down for the last couple of days, and I seem to be able to pick hosts that rape themselves in the arse a few days AFTER my money-back guarantee lapses. We shall see how things go. Could be a few days until the site is back up.
  18. Not going to put a definite time here, 'cause work is quite a bit hectic at the moment. Been working on it on my day off. So much for XPlode. I *hope* to finish it within a week or so, should be out by the end of January.
  19. Sorry guys, had some DNS issues yesterday. Should be fixed now. It's an msstyles - it's called RhodiumX, and I forget where I got it from. Google's your best bet if you want to find it. My system is an Ath64 3200+, w/ 2GB RAM... which may be upped to 4GB in the near future
  20. http://www.voidfx.com/files/20050120.png 600kB and 3328px x 1080px Yeah I got bored.
  21. Here's what it boils down to: Doing something that I love for $0/hr Doing something that I love for $24/hr Just that little bit harder, eh? ;-)
  22. Usually the transparent colour with bmp's is RGB(#FF00FF) or RGB(#0000FF), at least, that's the majority of ones that I've seen from MS.
  23. I'm sure of it. And that's why I've been contemplating stopping XPlode dev entirely after 4. n hours put in, for 0 returns. OR 30 hours a week at $24/hr. I know what I'm going to go with.
  24. That's going to be up to you to find out - as you can gather, I haven't installed every program at T-12 I don't know of any problems though, you *may* run into user account problems if you try logging on as other users. If you look at the log generated, it's doing a NET LOCALGROUP ... ... ..., so not domain enabled. You can always use the <execute> tag to do stuff when connected to a domain instead.
  25. I'm not providing any support for 1.1.2 whatsoever. From memory, display within the <execute> tag is shown, that's all I can tell you.
