when u maximize it goes non areo but there is a modded areo theme somewhere that stays areo when maximzed

considering your system specs i would say u should try xubuntu almost the same but uses xfce windows manager instead of gnome and its much liter on resources and see if it will allow u to use your seiral mouse

when ever i try and do a silent install it open nero express is there any way to stop that

u wont see the patches because of how nlite works instead of bloating ur system it will just update the files the hotfix is ment to patch

no way to remove directx 10 plus directx 9 is just emulated under vista

did u hit apply before making and iso and if u did did u rebuild the iso or just apply the changes

as for the closing track thats is depentend on ur dvd burner but have i tried to just make an iso then use some program nero, ultraiso, etc to try burning the dvd and for the update i have not tryed to update from one vista to another but i dont see why there would be a problem since each version has simalierties and just a few differences

vmware is not free but i have used parallels and vmware both of which u can obtain a trial licenses i had gotten a bsod when installing vista in parallels because of some irq error but works flawlessly in vmware i ran it in v6 but have not ran it in v5 but the best bet is download it and try it ur self its pretty simple to set up

look in the i386 folder on the cd and find winnt.sif open that with notepad and if u integrated the cd key with nlite it will be under [userData] hope that helps

i have a real xp but i was workign with tinyxp and i wanted to make a aio with those but none of them have the winnt.exe's in them

im tring to make a muiltboot dvd but the windows i want to put on dont have then winnt32.exe so i cant get $WIN_NT$.~BT and $WIN_NT$.~LS and i was wondering if there was some way to get aroud that cuz im trying to make a aio with 8 different windows xp and 1 windows 2003 and i was tring to use magiciso to make it but evey time i test it i get cannot boot from cd and ive made it twice and got the same probly and going through this guide i dont knwo how to get the to files needed sence i dont have winnt32.exe in any of my i386 folders
