  1. it sounds helpful but do you really believe that many ppl will purchase things ? or is it mainly just a information type service.. ether way it dosnt sound to bad
  2. id say no, it gives good avice for a guide line type decision
  3. well it was some thing that just happened to me during my last 2 resets, i had redo of my pc that went bad during a unattended instal and that was about 3 months ago, i realised the problem back then but never really had the time to get around to it ill try your suggestions and post back the results thank you for replying to my misery lol
  4. ok so far ive check for any programs giving out malware and nothing, no spyware of any kind, and everything is perfect pagefile defrag ive ran a Western Digital Data LifeGuard Diagnostics for my wd hd to see if its going bad in any ways and the test shows a negative for that so now im leaning towards memory issues, does anybody know of a free tool that will test the ddr to see how its actually holding up , and to see if its going out ?
  5. on the dialog itself, must be Microsoft having a laugh <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol that is indeed interesting i tried once to edit out the msgina but no matter how i attacked the problem it still kept jumping into classic mode grr the agrivation lol

  12. hi all i got this strange restarting lag happening to my pc for the last few months and im starting to feel like im having a problem in 1 of 3 areas, cooling, memory going bad or hard drive going bad well to start off what happens is this.. every time i restart the pc the pc starts to run very laggish / slow its hard to load things up and run normal programs, but when i turn off the pc and leave it for about 15 minutes and turn it back on it works perfect now i would blame this on cooling but, i even took the side panel off the pc and had a big fan blowing on it all and still no change , now im not really sure which one of these areas the problem may be occuring in,, id hate to say it but to me i feel like the hd is going bad but im not sure. what do you guys think ? any ideals ?
  13. no your mobo cant handle that speed your specs are • Memory: 2 x 184-pin DDR DIMM 2 x 168-pin SDRAM DIMM Maximum 2.0 GB PC133 / DDR266 so that stats that your max mem stick can be between pc133/ddr266 and your asking about sticks that are DDR 333 (PC 2700) thats alittle too high for your pc to handle better try to stick to no higher than the pc2100 range
  14. god bless that is one seriously evil looking dog lol
  15. its sad but true,, our best advice is for your last resourt and thats to reset,, but if you got a spare partiton of decent size you could just move all of your work to that drive while you redo your c drive use that method to save you time on reloading everything meaning your work, all you have to do is delete your c partition, reformat it then reinstal your os,
  16. @blinkdt Quoting myself here. In the version of WPI that I use the last section of the generate.js file can be removed to accomplish this feat: //Launch the last RunOnceEx process we just wrote keys for and exit WshShell.regWrite(KeyBase + "\\TITLE", getText(txtRunOnceExTitle), "REG_SZ"); window.moveTo(10000,10000); if (!debugOn) WshShell.Run("rundll32.exe iernonce.dll,RunOnceExProcess", 10, false); window.moveTo(0,0); if (!debugOn) window.close(); programs = null; Any checked entries are written to the registry and WPI closes. The entries do NOT run until the main WPI window is closed (the RunOnceEx process is NOT launched). I have not tested this with a working example, but it should be a simple matter of hyperlinking to a "sub" WPI with the target="_blank" attribute from within the "main" WPI. Gonna take a stab at that category selection issue later this week. Could you live with the notion of a small green check mark (select all) and small red X (select none) at the top of each category, preferably aligned to the right side of the category header, vs. a check box? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sounds like a great way to give it a stab ,, i would of replied sooner but i had a great vacation to the beach for a few days during the 4th of july right now im in the middle of brushing up on my javascripting to try to tackle this javascript clock ideal,, i got the look down but it still wont function properly yet ,but ill work on both ideals to hehehe i think this next version of wpi is gonna be a high flyer
  17. Yup, I hear ya Wasn't really ment as a flame..more of a reflection. As (undoubtly) the greatest economical/military nation you guys need a kick in da butt once and a while <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol everyone needs a kick in the butt some times lol, but geesh that woman is definatly not the best example for other countries to view the us as lol,

  20. definatly fake, ive read some wher about this scam on the net, ill post back if i can find it again, but yes i say fake,, grr dang scams
  21. i think we should stop being so foolish in holding back on what we like to do meaning using some personal info,, because the simple fact remains is internet is not safe and if some one really wants you bad enough even if your hidden with the best securities there is always a loophole to get your personal information even if you dont show it, but also if your not doing anything bad like illegal, then i dont see any harm in it,, but yet i still believe if you go into a chat server,, using personal info should still be used at high risk just my thoughts.. so i guess my final answer is yes and no
  22. sounds like a kool ideal ill throw my help into the ring in testing if needed, just show me how and ill help out
