@kelsenellenelvian have a look at the thined out version and tell me what ya think , if thats ok, then the only thing left to do really is double check all the codes and make sure everything is up to date with the latest version of wpi, so ppl wont be so confused,, so far i already know i have to update a few lines in the themes section
-
@kelsenellenelvian thanks m8 im gonna do my last finishing touches to it and hand it over to you, ive made it very easy to update because i split it into multiple pages youll probably have it in the next day or so
-
i took your advice and changed the reference color any ways ,, its yellow now i also added a line of text to the purpose saying best viewed in a 1024 x 768 resolution ,,, that way ppl will not ask me why it dosnt show up right when they look at it with a different resolution
-
noted, ive recreated the tabs for purpose , changed its color plus changed its folder to match it as for the reference tab, i found them fairly easy to read,, i think its kinda kool looking thanks for the feed back

ok peeps i just revamped my script, an altered the way it looks some more to give areal folder effect, rounder buttons, better color effects / scheme plus i also broke it down into smaller parts for easy undating. this is best viewed on a 1024 x 768 res keep in mind i just revamped the look and feel alittle,, i still need to update some code snips into it, so that everything is more upto date with the latest version of wpi. once again ill keep this up for today and most of the night until i take it down for further work,, let me know what you think on its layout effects,, pls keep in mind not all scripts are current with the latest version of wpi.. and if you feel i left some thing out pls post away,, i want to add as much info to this reference that ppl will find helpful to there compiling removed

How does your registry "go bad"? Sure it can fill up with lots of junk entries from poorly written software, but "go bad"? If that's the case then you probably haven't been taking care of your computer security wise. If you look around here a bit, you'll see a couple of threads regarding Linux. Long story short - it's not at all like Windows, and it's probably still not up to par for the common user. Unless you've had a good deal of experience with the command line, it's probably not for you. Have a look around here for suggestions on alternate AV and firewall programs. There are plenty out there that don't write lots of entries into the registry (which is actually a decent tool if you know how to use it). And a good habit of computing is not to install and uninstall lots of programs... that's when problems start happening (in more ways than one). If you want to install a program "just because" do it in a virtual machine in VirtualPC or VMWare. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> true true and also its a good rule of thumb to normally on a routine to clean your registry up with a safe programlike RFA) or some thing to cut back on future problems

WPI 3.6 Screenies.
Lost Soul replied to Kelsenellenelvian's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
@kelsenellenelvian i havnt tested the latest release yet but judging from the pic i can only see one thing that bothers me on the integration of a description image i believe its set standard to haveing the text below the image right ? shouldnt there be a way to give choice to where you want the text to show in accordance with the image... lets say for example text to left of image text to right of image text below image or even text ontop of image and also not to mention some ppl may like to have there text that belongs with the pic indented. should i add these more advanced layouts with explination to the cosmetics section ? plus should also mention ways to have the image transparent if possible, if thats the users preference. or atleast give them a hint that if they change the tool tips colors they can match the bgcolor of the box to work smoothly with there description image. just some thoughs -
