are all sound devices working properly on your pc,, ? and it probably has nothing to do with any of this but are your auto runs enabled on your pc ? meaning when you put in a disk does it autoplay.. or just open to the files.. ive just redownloaded the latest wpi version and im trying to replicate this issue and everything is working fine on my side,, perhaps kel may have some ideals when he reads this thread

youll probably also need to have net frame work sp1 installed before the driver pack takes effect.. some graphics cards depend on that now to work properly like for example ati or if that dont work you could just do your graphic drivers the old fashioned way and add them to the winnt.sif file ,, id try that if you just want only your graphics card im just throwing out ideals, to explore all methods possible for you i know were at ends here but best of luck btw since your using bashrats packs and your getting a bsod its best to post a question like that in bashrats section im sure he could help you because he deals with issues like this regularly i would think and also 1 more thing if your getting a bsod when using the driver pack a,, are you nliting your disk before for add the driver packs,, if so, you may be removing needed things..

hmm that should work as is are you testing your setup in a virtual enviornment ? if so ive found the sound not working properly with in them but works fine on regular pcs and also has the wpi.htm file been modified any within the audio player section?

isnt there a problem with this method,, like for example what if the user has more then 1 msi file to install and they are back to back,, your saying instead of having the runwait cmd use msi= ,, now does that mean the msi's wont wait for other apps to install before they start,, because thats what it seems like and if that is so, then there may be a big problem in alot of ppls installs clashing just a thought tho,,,, sorry im not a big fan of the manual addons, i always thought wpi was to be a program for ease of use,, and simplicity,, i dont really see the simplicity in having to type in extra commands, is there a better way to have msi files installed

try to install your graphics drivers before hand,, like for example use driver packs like bashrats,, that seems to be your last option

i found a prob/ error with your latest version its some thing i just noticed,, when using the save feature more then once to save your current progress,, it adds alot of extra slashes "\" depending upon how ever many times youve tried to save,, like for example if youve saved your work each time youve added a program,, it will come out like this i think that should be definatly looked at before this goes final.. other then that it seems to be working fine

hmmm seems youve been working on this problem for ages now have you tried adding your graphics drivers to your instillation,, it could be a picky card that needs its drivers installed before hand in order to bump its res to the desired one,, whats your graphics card ? is it new ? old ? just a thought but try that out and see if it helps any

i believe its set to function this way in order to have wpi minimized during installs

it attacks me no matter what, every time i do a fresh install its still the same,, im running, outpost and kaspersky ,,, the bad part is ive traced it down to a school up in michagin, and im currently waiting for a call back from the schools principle to further research the problem, ill contact my isp with the ips range and direct ips, other then that, im not sure what to really do, id rather keep any official law enforcers out of it, but id hate for this virus to hurt any others if it hasnt already, i just want it to stop scanning my pc and attacking me

hmmm maybe i should clairify my self better,, my pc has never been infected and its on cable,, but the problem is this virus keeps on attacking me, because my firewall is constantly picking it up.

hi for the longest time (months now) ive been constantly attacked with a helkern virus atleast 5 times a day, maybe more ,, my firewall and virus programs prevent it from hurting me, but yet, it dosnt seem to stop attacking, even tho its constantly blocked does any body know what i could do to end these virus attacks, im sure if its hitting my pc constantly through each day it must be attacking others as well, i honestly thought if i just blocked it long enough,, the virus would be killed off eventually over time and stop attacking, but yet it seems to keep going on any one know how to reporta virus ,, and btw,, its not the same ip address thats sending the virus attacks, it seems to use a wide range of ip's any help would be appreciated thanks
