problem solved* removed less stuff from nlite and it's working fine thanks all EDIT: Problem solved, topic closed.

made uaxp cd with latest ryan pack.. seems that xpize 4 is overwriting some files because with Xpize, WU tells me to download some Hot-fixes. until xpize update is made, i must drop it from my CD .. i'm gonna miss it!!

no i didn't keep the driver, could that casue a problem?

using latest sound pack. i get this error when installing logitech quickam mic. so far, tested with Logitech QC Messenger, and STX "this device is not configured properly" (CODE 1) if i try to point to directory containing driver, it tries to copy 'portcls.sys" file to system32/driver and then the error sign appears. lmk if anyone have same issue and solution tia

what exactly is that pdvd6 problem? i want to check my solution is working. here's what i did 1. do i386 integration through GUI. 2. set output directory that is different that your source (means no direct patching) 3. copy every file in the new folder except msxml3.dll

so is there anyway you can apply this to i386 dir w/out ONLY the msxml3.dll file? (when you use /nodll switch ) it skips all .dll files.. right?

yes, i'd love to make a custom .msi that has all my mess.be patch applied... ( i currently copy msn.exe file along with msgslang.dll file after installing messenger (extra 8MB on my CD)

got a quick question i had uAE b2 with nliteb6 .. had the 'can't disable network connection problem' i just used i386 patching method of this RC version.. will the error go away or do i need to start from clean UA_xp cd? tia

pardon my stupidness, but if i check forced option, it's just mean that the program will install no matter what? or does it mean wpi will wait until the program is fully installed? couple .msi based installations are giving me problems (Norton AV, PerfectDisk.. ) because wpi doesn't wait until the install finishes.. so sometimes those programs don't get installed... i'm now using timekill.vbs to remedy the situation, but looking for cleaner solution

seems like i can just put xpize_logon.exe uncabbed. it is working now. thanks *edit* well. i put xpize_logon.exe on my $$/system32 folder and did [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] "UIHost"="C:\Windows\system32\XPize_Logon.exe" but after install, UIHost is set to 'logonui.exe' and i have to manually change it to "C:\Windows\system32\XPize_Logon.exe" in order to work.. any idea what i did wrong? thanks

i have not.. so i just makecab xpize_logon.exe to xpize_logon.ex_ and put it in my $OEM$/$$/system32 ? and do that reg tweak?

i've successfully integrated uAE 2.0 and royale theme on my UA_XP cdthanks to this thread .. but i can't find info on how to integrate login/shutdown screen that i have with XPize 4.0 .. i really like the screen .. blends well with royale theme.. i've searched for logonui.exe but no luck .. if anyone have info please help! tia after looking at this thread , i copied logonuiX.exe from my XPized computer to new bare computer.. but it did not work.. i'm guessing i need to copy more needed files in order for this to work?
