Ok the error (hang) came back. I am stump. instead of troubleshooting the problem i just decide to make a fresh U.A. source. humm... can u smell the aroma of a freshly baked U.A. source. took only about an 1 hr. mainly bec. of the 266 mb service pack download. I also downloaded and integrated RyanVM's HotFixes. I never knew what they were until now. Integrated Bashrat's Drivers' pack My wpi my dvd just finished hopefully the hang will go away.

pretty easy.. if u download the lastest Firefox that simon uploaded a few days ago. u will find in your start menu a shortcut called default profile. all u need to do is lanuch the default profile add the tweaks from flexbeta then just follow the steps to sfx your default profile good luck @simon how do i integrate the dsl tweak?

I think i know what your problem is already follow the steps below CAREFULLY 1. Uninstall firefox, 2. Go to c:\documents_and_settings\<username>\application_data\mozilla\ 3. Delete that folder

I am testing a new program that i wrote, and norton internet security 2005 and Drivers pack firefox is perfect. wouldn't u think if others had the same problem they would hv posted by now? your the first to report this and firefox by simon has been out for so long.

I installed firefox about a dozen times today and their is no problem.

i dont think that is a firefox issue. it is more of your system issue. do a clean install of xp and try again. nlite user?

I put all the viewsonic inf into my $OeM$\$1\DP\ folder since i use the 7z method my 380 MB drivers are compressed to 83 mb. so i save a lot of space., but i hv 2 GB to go on my DVD but to answer your question yes. that is fine how much did you get your vx910 ? i got my VP912B for 509 Delivered

u must have remove or hacked your NAV. did u modify your NAV? let me guess u modified your virus definition didn't you. i did that before and i think i got the same pop up.

I have the New ViewSonic VP912B 19' LCD 12ms I have attach the ViewSonic Drivers for XP. (CRT and LCD) 124 kb 7zip if u are using the Bashrat's method just extract the 7z to \DP\000_Viewsonic and make the changes in your winnt.sif simple ViewSonic.7z

You can launch the WPI.exe from GuiRunonce or RunonceEX.cmd it is up to you. Can u read what i said above? I dont understand what u just type? Can u pls write somewhere near proper english spelling and grammar?

I have been doing the video bit for a very long time. all u need to do is download the ATI drivers and Nvidia drivers For ATI u only need extract ATI drivers to your hard drive and look for this folder for Nvidia u need to extract the 22MB file Place it in Nvidia driver folder OemPnPDriversPath="DP\001_ATI;DP\002_Nvidia I would also like to report that using the 7zip method, i was able to compress the 350 odd MB drivers pack to 82 MB works great!

u see even if un-check a forced item. It will still install. it would be nice to have that option that it is greyed out.

BST i downloaded the base, and drivers pack followed all the instructions. had many problems here is what i did to resolve my problem. I basically got the original txtsetup and dosnet from my xp original did the patching again. And did not do method 1 part 4b i left my dosnet as is, and everything worked. Can u tell me the purpose of the listing u added to dosnet.inf what does it do?
