Hi! I'm Bottetoundra719, alias Bottle719. I'm a bit of a "youngster" who enjoys using old tech and learning how to develop apps with Windows XP support using the Code::Blocks 17.12 IDE and its bundled MinGW compiler. (It's sometimes a good thing to be able to keep old machines to test the functionality and compatibility of an app with older hardware and operating systems hehe!) Anyhow, I'm happy to meet you all, have a nice day!1 point

I think people might be interested, it just seems that noone has ever backported it. Or the code is too complicated to adapt it to anything before Windows 10.1 point

I didn't give you only a version number, I said Firemin Portable in the version 6.3.1.5105. I already offered to upload this version one week ago, but you didn't reply. This version is not available in the internet and by using the Wayback Machine anymore, either. Anyway, the next time, I'll be running my desktop computer I'll upload this version for you and other users. Cheers, AstroSkipper PS: On Rizonesoft's download site, are always two versions offered, an installer and a portable version of Firemin.1 point

The documentation of my program package ProxHTTPSProxy's PopMenu TLS 1.3 3V3 has been corrected in regard to spelling, punctuation and grammar. The updated archive has already been uploaded. Cheers, AstroSkipper1 point

Thanks for your finds! I already found them, too! Have been corrected! And I found a lot more! The name of the archive can have the same as one of its subfolder without any problems. After downloading, you can simply extract the complete archive to any folder. Its name doesn't matter using 7-Zip or WinRAR! Of course, you are not allowed to create two subfolders of the same name in one folder. Frankly, I neither extract files or folders to the desktop nor use the Windows feature "Extract to". This feature was disabled from the very first. Anyway, I can't reproduce that because there is no "Extract to" in my Windows XP. I tested extracting with 7-Zip, and there are no issues here. BTW, all file operations I have to perform in my system will be done by using a file manager, in my case Total Commander. I always download such files in my "Download Archive", located on another drive, and can do with them whatever I want to. I never download files into my system partition, I separate that very strictly. If you have 7-Zip installed, the easiest way is to double-click onto the archive and copy the folder "ProxHTTPSProxy_TLS_1_3_1_5_220717_PopMenu_3V3" inside to any location by using the Explorer or a file manager. In Total Commander, it even works without 7-Zip! PS: You can rename my archive, too, of course!1 point

No problem! Do it when you have time! You are my beta tester, and your opinion is very important for me! PS: And, I forgot to mention that in such long posts the extension Grammar and Spell Checker - LanguageTool stops working! It is limited to a number of words in the free version.1 point

You're very welcome! Did you already try it? It was really hard work! But now, the windows of my programs react faster and behave more "professional", in my opinion, of course. What do you think?1 point

So what else do you want to update ? This 0.5 GB package uncludes all of the most needed/wanted/popular updates . Do note , this is v4 , the latest . Perhaps the update you want to install is included in that package already ? Automatic updates will install telemetry and other bloatware, by the way , there are much simplier ways to remove / rename that folder. https://www.majorgeeks.com/content/page/rename_or_delete_the_software_distribution_folder_in_windows_1087.html1 point

Maybe , maybe not . I wouldn't be surprised if it's intentonal, though . But ! To be sure you need to test with the same Net 4.5.1 , VC Redist 2015 and drivers' versions. Also , try to remove Afterburner and see if it works without it . Today I've used drivers 388 , 391 , 416 and 430.x.x - again , all is fine . I shall test with Vista if I find some spare time.1 point

Do you have this quick rollup update pack with all the most popular updates windows6.1-kb3125574-v4-x64 in one package?1 point

Version 7.3.1 works just fine with 7 and SP1 , I know there are literally millions of updates' fans here , so I installed a quick rollup update pack with all of the most popular updates "windows6.1-kb3125574-v4-x64" just for you ! And all is absolutely good with "Show in On-Screen Display" ON , "On-Screen Display support" ON too , shows FPS just fine , no glitches , nothing. Oh , and the framework is 4.5.1. Perhaps you need to remove the newer framework ? I dunno . I cannot attach screenshots 'cause my monthly limit is up. Perhaps I should try with Vista too ?1 point

Tell me the exact version number you're having problems with and provide with it's link . I will install Windows 7 on a spare machine and test it . Though, I do not have any modern cards to test it with . My latest card , as of now , is GTX Titan 6GB (mfg date February 2013) . I sold GTX980 recently . Perhaps it hangs up due to some conflict with newer GPUs ?1 point
