Did you try to launch it on Vista with SM files? See if MV2 will also be supported?

The separate installer for Windows 10 and 11 was introduced to apparently mitigate some hard to pin down issues which only appeared on those operating systems. https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/releases/tag/win10_11-test-v1 What the differences actually are, I don't know, but the separate installer has remained on all subsequent releases. I've never used it on Windows 10, because I've had no problems with the standard version.

The query on GitHub has been updated. It seems the problem went away with a new clean profile.

That is, the breaking of the engine or V8 by author continues. The question is for what reason? The author doesn't have to do anything with it to maintain legacy OS compatibility.

Does anyone else use Supermium with Instagram? The reason I ask is because recent versions for me seem to have trouble with the overlays which should come up if you click on the link in a post to view the comments. What often happens for me is that the screen darkens down, but the overlay does not appear. The only way I can view the whole list of comments is to open the link in a new tab, which I shouldn't have to do. The equivalent overlay on Facebook works fine. I'm pretty sure this isn't being cause by any of my extensions. I did suspect uBlock, but I've switched it off on IG and the problem is still happening.

You're right, #compact-mode doesn't seem to do anything (I hadn't actually tried it before, as I'm very happy with it the way it is!) 132 looks exactly the same to me as 126 did.

I think it was another member who tagged you. @ED_Sln and @D.Draker, they ordered a version for Vista from the Chinese student, he made it after a couple of hours, and it runs on Vista WITHOUT SP!!! How long did it take for Supermium to geat there? Several years? And it's super buggy. Write to the Chinese student, probably he will make one for your XP, but it will take a bit longer, three hours, maybe...
