  1. It seems that Daum Potplayer for Windows Vista is out of date. The last version I could install was 1.7.22508 released in March 2025. Maybe for some people it is not the best player, but it was really good for me. Such a pity.

  4. @Dietmar A CSMWrap version has been released, which allows you to use the BIOS video from the disk from EFI\Boot\vgabios.bin https://github.com/FlyGoat/CSMWrap/issues/37#issuecomment-3030297746 Compiled bins: https://github.com/FlyGoat/CSMWrap/actions/runs/16040013218 Thanks to this, WinXP boot OK on iGPU using ntldr as on a normal Legacy machine - I tested CoffeeLake, Haswell, SandyBridge: CSM Disabled, iGPU VBIOS extracted from motherboard bios. Now - I don't have to use SeaVGABIOS and Longhorn bootmgr 5472 loader.

  8. Maybe, an old SSL Proxy could help. Or a very old version of ProxHTTPSProxy where SSL3 is not disabled. Just ideas. As far as I know, OpenSSL supports SSLv3, at least in older versions.

  9. Would be great if you saved it in the past. FileHippo has become bad the last years. It was great but now it is crap. The file is only a linker (1.6MB) and no offline installer. From FileHippo one can't get any meaningful these days.

  10. No problem. Then that's the way it is. Actually, people should get their information here anyway. Sometimes, it's not so easy to express exactly what you want to say in a foreign language. In most cases, I think I manage that, but unfortunately not always.

  11. Ok!? Is it not possible to edit posts in the Pale Moon forum afterwards? I only know this from the Malwarebytes forum. I personally hate such restrictions.

  12. This happens to me all the time, and very often I don't know what the actual problem is. The forum post editor is a disease. And this untenable situation has existed for months now. Thanks for posting additional information about my mod! However, the cited post of mine is unfortunately misleading and should be still replaced by the corrected one. Otherwise, someone could think the updating over an existing installation (1.16.4.32 or 1.16.4.33) of uBlock Origin Legacy would also work which is of course not the case. The manual updating over an existing installation of my mod will only work in terms of the internal list of all offered filter lists (assets.json) starting with version 1.16.4.34 and above. After installing this internal list from version 1.16.4.34, it will then be updated automatically in the future. Anyway! Thanks again for spreading the news!

  13. I second this! It all started back in 2006, about the time they introduced the same fingerprint scanning "security" technique for notebooks.

  14. It's much worse for me, and I don't even have the Aero theme like you. I ran it on my Windows 8.0 with Light and Dark themes, it consumed all 32GB of memory with 1 empty page, and after one second I got "out of memory" even at the settings page!

  15. You're most likely missing the AHCI drivers that needed to be integrated. It's many tutorials around the web. I'm not sure whether to tell it here because it would involve the modifying of original MS ISO. Just search for integrating SATA drivers (AHCI) to XP.
