  1. Thanks for reporting! TBH, I didn't expect any further root certificate updates via CAupdater 1.0 or Certificate Updater 1.6. Great news!

  2. When I am back on my desktop computer, I will check whether KB2686509 was installed in my system or not.

  3. Thanks, I finally got through by using a good VPN, now upon choosing a low definition 720p (.mp4) file, it redirects me to a page with an "app", but then it says the "app" doesn't work with Vista! Finita la comedia, I guess.

  5. Why such over-complications. lol? Wouldn't it be simpler to just move the whole cert folder from the new Firefox version?

  6. None, those can't be trusted in testing your hardware. I had several cases where my RAM passed all tests with flying colours, running from there, then failed with booting Windows.

  7. What exactly you didn't like in my reply? Why do you integrate USB3 into an ISO for a 20 years old DDR2 LGA775 machine? It doesn't have them! So, my advice is to take the original Vista or 7 ISO and try to install so you would be sure your disk is fine. BEFORE you proceed with XP.

  8. It's what agendalists stuff in your brain, it's not your problem, ignore everything what is not your problem. They off-load their work on civilian population. EDIT. You need to fight the depression with fun, we talked about it.

  9. I helped CrystalMark Retro to work in older versions of Windows, and found that GDIPlus.dll (version "5.1.3102.1360 (xpsp2.040109-1800)") and OpenGL32.dll (version 4.0.1379.1) doesn't work in NT 3.51, GDIPlus.dll got a crash when it tries to call non-existent "InterlockedCompareExchange" call, and its OpenGL32.dll has a version check. the patch for GDIPlus.dll is available here: https://gist.github.com/roytam1/ffc97892dbe94d9db3016f078628e9c5 and the patch for OpenGL32.dll is available here: https://gist.github.com/roytam1/4696c63150aeb104b7baa65b8e64018f save the content as text file (with CRLF line ending) and use patcherfcb to patch (binary and source both included): http://o.rthost.win/gpc/files1.rt/patcherfcb.zip of course these patches just able to make it "work", and there is a bug on GDIPlus' DrawImage on scaled size (I got no idea where the fault is).

  10. it turns out that CMR's GDIPlus.dll comes from GDI_PLUS.EXE package, and OpenGL32.dll comes from OPENGL95.EXE package.

  11. And that's why it makes no sense at all. Using ProxHTTPSProxy does it definitely better. Or a more recent Chromium version as, for example, Thorium.

  12. How can I integrate this into Windows XP? Is there an installation file or a ready-made file that I can copy to a specific folder? Unfortunately, I am not familiar with this. This was just a hint that Elliptic Curve Cryptography can be ported to Windows XP. No more, no less. How this can be done, no idea. The linked project is not documented more detailed. But as you stated clearly, you like such short information. Personally, I do not really need such a port.

  13. Thank you very much, @we3fan! That's a confirmation I really needed. Unfortunately, I have to conclude that there is indeed a problem in my Windows XP partition (with all POSReady updates). And it doesn't seem to be related to the POSReady updates themselves as I assumed. Therefore, I have to investigate that again and this time much more deeply although I already did a lot of fixing and cleaning. Anyway! Great job! Thanks again for all your efforts!
