  1. IMHO, a very simple and clean way is to unpack the new Mypal 68 archive file to a new folder, open the browser from there and create a new profile with the same name of your old profile to be imported by using Mypal 68's profile manager. Then, close the browser. Now, delete all files of your just created profile folder and copy the old ones from your backup into it. Now, start the browser again with this new profile. Done! At the moment, I have 10 different Mypal 68 programme folders and many, many profiles, only for the purpose of developing and testing, of course. No problems here.

  4. Is the "covid generation" are those between 18-21? Weill, yeah, they are hurting the planet big time, I've now finally found a female I kinda like (about 6 points out of ten, but, alas, I don't have that huge leverage over the variants I had earlier, so I consider I'm lucky). And what? She produces at least thrice amounts of waste compared to the previous GF which was born in 1996. The new one uses at least twice more cosmetics, she throws away a lot of plastic stuff, and all of that I noticed after a couple of days living together. Now she says lots in my house needs to replaced!

  5. There would be no mystery then, @K4sum1 wants mystery. Those fellas (K4sum1and Compa), they love mystery, at least from what I know about them. I taught them myself. As per D.Draker, users gotta be intrigued! @vinifera, you feel no fun for life, I'm very sorry for you. Take example from @Jody Thornton , or me.

  10. With what? The rule says I can't paste the message content! That's it. Where did I write "Disagreements"? And what you're referring to, was made public. A moderator, don't remember who at this time, wrote publicly, "stop the discussion".

  11. I was under the impression M. Moore was never a friend of America, is it the same anti-capitalist Moore? Then he doesn't understand the basics. American capitalism isn't the cause of the bad climate. It's on the contrary, they moved those dirty/polluting facilities out of the country!

  13. That was definitely the culprit, thank you! For some reason, the default value was too long for me and caused sort of distraction. Now that I've changed the parameter it feels way smoother, I see thumbnails instantly, and that's exactly what I needed. In case anyone may be interested: I set my value to 15 ms. For me that's a comfortable option. I left StartAllBack 'precious little animation' on, by the way. Nevertheless, it feels good to know how and where I can disable the animations any time I might need that. StartAllBack is something that really helps. I tried Start11 as well, and that one couldn't even maintain correct spacing between tray icons on a two-monitor setup with 2k laptop screen and Full HD AOC monitor, and it looked just awful.

  15. I already reported here that Amazon Germany stopped working properly in Mypal 68.14.x: https://msfn.org/board/topic/183495-mypal-68/page/76/#findComment-1275586 Your posted article on Amazon France has even led to a crash of Mypal 68.14.7b on my old Windows XP machine when clicking on 8 ports Métal 34,99€. The causer of this misery is of course not @feodor2, but the website designers at Amazon, strictly following the rule: The more bloated, the better. However, I personally hope that @feodor2 can fix it one day.

  16. @feodor2 Here is my feedback to your new release Mypal 68.14.7b: I can confirm that the loading and scrolling websites issue in multi-process mode doesn't occur anymore. Same applies to the issue that the GIF image animation was broken in single-process mode. This issue doesn't occur anymore, either. And last not least, same applies to the issue that the last confirmation popup is incorrectly displayed when installing extensions. This issue doesn't occur anymore, either. Good job! So, thank you very much for your quick bug fix version and for all your efforts! Greetings from Germany, AstroSkipper

  17. @feodor2 Thanks in advance! And since you are the creator of Mypal 68, have kindly restored compatibility with the legacy Custom Buttons extension and have already installed it, I have chosen you as the very first to install my new custom button PMT - Process Mode Toggler, which I created for use in Mypal 68, only if you want, of course. I am really interested in your opinion, which you are welcome to post here or in my thread Mypal 68 in Windows XP - Custom Buttons and Extensions. I'll send you the download link via PM. The use of this custom button is explained in the Button Help which can be accessed by a right-click onto this button. Greetings from Germany, AstroSkipper

  18. @feodor2 And after all the issues I've reported here, here's something positive that I've noticed. Mypal 68.14.6b runs pleasantly fast in single-process mode and seems to use less RAM than before. That is really pleasing. Thanks for that!

  19. Mypal 68.14.6b - Confirmation popup incorrectly displayed when installing extensions @feodor2 When installing extensions in Mypal 68.14.6b, the last confirmation popup is incorrectly displayed. It doesn't matter whether running the browser in single-process mode or multi-process mode. Here is a screenshot: Here is, for example, a screenshot taken from Mypal 68.14.4b where this confirmation popup is correctly displayed. TBH, this issue is not as important as the previous ones but it is an issue. Or did you make this change consciously?

  20. Thanks a lot! In the past I didn't realize that there were other builds of Mypal. Was it buried in the issues too? In the official folder definitely not. Anyway, thanks!

  21. @feodor2 seems to have fixed the immature add-on support. I installed seven new extensions without any hassle. No restart, they were immediately added to addon manager as it should be. Great! Thanks a lot @feodor2! I have to go on testing, but so far, very impressive. I am really happy! Cheers, AstroSkipper

  22. Hi @RainyShadow, I did a little research and you are absolutely right. Mea culpa! @feodor2 provided a Mypal 28.14.1 SSE build in the past. Sadly I missed that, it was really buried somewhere in the issues. Using the Wayback Machine I found it in the issue 126: https://web.archive.org/web/20201107143124/https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal/issues/126 Unfortunately the download link is no longer available. Do you have a copy of this release? If so, I would like to ask you to be so kind as to upload this copy. The reason is I do have an old computer with an AthlonXP 3200+ too. Therefore any SSE release of good software (especially Mypal) is welcome and would be great. Kind regards, AstroSkipper
