CRX files are extensions for Chrome/Chromium browsers. Are you aware that this thread here is dedicated to @roytam1's browser releases? They are all based on Firefox up to version 52. So, what are you talking here about?3 points

AdNauseam v3.7.802 is the last version for legacy Firefox browsers. It is from 28.09.2018 and based on uBlock Origin 1.15.24 which is of course older than the last, official (legacy) version uBlock Origin 1.16.4.30 or 1.16.4.31b2. So, what are the advantages supposed to be?3 points

Many, many games introduce artificial requirements to run on an OS made in 2018 and up. So it's not only the question of hardware. And with old hardware, you're limited to very dated drivers.2 points

I have a non-modified, original Ti Bios issued only to the press-release and installed only on developer' samples. It has no artificial throttling introduced to the public versions. They usually do it to avoid en masse RMA. I can share.2 points

One country, which we are here forbidden to even breath towards, not to mention calling its name in relation to anything non-positive, is heavily invested in AdGuard. All engineers, the majority of AdGuard developers and other employees work from that country, but registered in Cyprus. Would you wonder why? It's to avoid any possible sanctions, complications, continue to roam free and spread in the West without consequences. They *of course* don't host their lists on servers in that country, they host on Cloudflare, and you're blocked by Cloudflare, not AdGuard. Why would AdGuard compromise their state mission? Your Cloudflare block was already explained to you, I think by Saxon. You told us you get "Are you a human?" on Cloudflare sites. So, your IP is in a bad list. I'm not getting any restrictions by Cloudflare, all is updated fine.1 point

I remember not long ago the normal speed was about 1400 kB/s, it's through a download manager, not browser.1 point

ZIP downloads now ramp up to over 6 MB/s. The browser might have a smaller receive window (socket buffer). I remember not long ago the normal speed was 400 kB/s, which was of course better than nothing, and at most you needed a 1 meg old driver file or something like that. And very slow to initialize, as if they had to spin up a disk in the headquarters. Young members of Reddit suddenly couldn't download Windows because Archive Org was the only place they were willing to go. It was hillarious. As if the Cloud had dissipated.1 point

There is no problem with IceApe. I can easily connect to all websites. Here is a screenshot regarding the https://o.rthost.win/ site: Either your browser is misconfigured or something is blocking some of your connections. Check your network settings, internet connection settings, security settings, and update your root certificates! In any case, the problem is on your side. And don't forget that the problem can also be sitting in front of the computer! (Old computer wisdom.)1 point

Everything seems back to normal but you still can't log in. So that means that some things can't be downloaded. Of course there may be another part of the site I don't know about that is offline. I mainly use it for the website archive and the file search and both of those were working fine. However, I will note that some of their file hosting servers may not be fully running. Of the two things I downloaded a 600 MB file took 7 minutes but a 800 MB file took 2 hours. Or maybe it has always been like that.1 point

That would be great. The less bugs, the better. Isn't it? Now, I have observed another problem in Mypal 68.14.4b, a real bug, so to speak. Sorry for that in advance! Copying a selected text from a website to the clipboard and then reading it from the clipboard does not work properly when doing it via JavaScript. Although copy and paste natively works, it doesn't work correctly via a script or a code input from the Browser Console. Here is my test code I created to demonstrate the problem. Open a website with a text area, select some text or words, then open the Scratchpad (Enviroment -> Browser) and of course the Browser Console. Now, execute my code snippet: // Test code window.focus(); goDoCommand("cmd_copy"); var clip = gClipboard.read(); console.log(clip); You should then notice in the Browser Console that after the first execution, the logged value of the variable clip is not equal to the currently selected text but equal to the previous content of the clipboard. You get the correct and desired value of the variable clip only after a directly following, second execution of the code. So, only executing the code twice leads to the correct result instead of once. Any ideas? P.S: I should still mention that contrary to Mypal 68, this test code correctly works in @roytam1's New Moon 28.1 point

I avoid the original YouTube interface as it has become useless for me the last years. I use instead the VORAPIS V3 script which is really great. I therefore no longer notice whether the original interface has become even worse.1 point

Thanks for replying! I will post the new version 2.0 of Restart & Purge soon. I have reworked the code considerably, and after a lot of testing, this custom button now works perfectly. The old version wasn't bad, but the new one is definitely better and more compatible. I think there should no longer be any problems that could have occurred in very rare cases. BTW, there are a lot of alternatives for the About-Menu custom button in Serpent 52.1 point

The Custom Buttons version I use has been modified by me. The original version was actually multilingual, but the locales were not complete and therefore faulty. Many entities were missing, and I didn't feel like correcting and translating all that. Too much work. I prefer the English language in this area anyways. That's why I turned the multilingual version into a purely English one. I don't have the original link anymore, but maybe I'll write about this version here soon and upload my mod. I already posted a screenshot of this version:1 point

Personally, I use a much more recent Custom Buttons extension with a lot of additional features created by a well-known and very talented developer of custom buttons and extensions who was also very active in the old Custom Buttons forum that time. This Custom Buttons extension is of course particularly interesting for developers of custom buttons.1 point
-
I have unfortunately noticed that strangely enough, the interest in custom buttons does not seem to be particularly high here. Therefore my question to all users of UXP browsers is how you feel about the custom buttons and whether you use them at all. TBH, if there is no real interest though, I do not need to post more custom buttons here, either. Especially the ones I created or modified myself. Personally, I am a fan of the legacy custom buttons and try to use them as much as possible. They use much less resources and cause much less conflict than extensions. Therefore, in my browsers, additional functions are first provided by custom buttons and only then the still missing ones by extensions.1 point

I submit that some will disagree with "change" for no other reason than it is "change". I googled (had to Google that out of curiosity, the "past tense verb" is not supposed to be capitalized) for XP Browser and MSFN.org shows up on Page 1 of the results. I googled for Vista Browser and MSFN.org shows up on Page 2 of the results. These will promote higher on the results pages because of how Google's algorithm works. The more ACTIVE these threads become the HIGHER they rank in ANY search engine list of results, not just Google, at least that's how I understand search engine algorithms. The web browsers discussed here are not really limited to XP. There is a large number of active users in the XP threads that don't even run XP.1 point

you should check if your extensions is/are broken since there is some javascript syntax changes are required. you may open javascript console to see them. this is an intended change since youtube updated their code, which makes NM27 very slow when rendering page.1 point

Yeah , I agree this cheaper N version maybe the culprit , it doesn't even have mfplat files. But VM is a different story though. Do you have a normal version to test on real hardware and upload the pictures here ? It's no hurry , of course . Thanks .1 point

Hi , I've just tried . DOA6 DEMO won't launch , it wants K32EnumProcessModulesEx in KERNEL32.dll. P.S. To whom it may concern , it doesn't use that bloody "mono". It has a huge executable and not a single game related DLLs (!). Some third party DLLs are present in the folder , but they are not being used by the game itself.1 point

I will test it myself and write back . I understand you have plenty to do. I've got a good deal on a huge HDD , so space is not a problem , though I have very weak CPUs on all of my PC's . It's Xeon X5440 (somewhat similar to yours, oveclocked) and a cheap Haswell Pentium , also OC. I'm afraid the performance will be terrible . I only hope if this game is not CPU demanding , and my old GTX970 will be enough.1 point

I've searched this error , some say it is related to VCRedist 2008 absence , strange , I have them both - x86 and x 64. I wasn't going to use that old chrome , anyway.1 point
