  1. No, that doesn't mean I've done anything wrong at all . In case of calling up the about:preferences#privacy page, then opening the native "Manage Cookies and Site Data" popup and deleting a cookie, seriously, what can you do wrong? Absolutely nothing! Anyway! I can't confirm your statement. When deleting a cookie in Mypal 68.14.4b, even in a fresh, untouched profile, I always get the same error message: Services.lsm is undefined ClearDataService.jsm:488 deleteByHost resource://gre/modules/ClearDataService.jsm:488 It was just a kindness on my part to point this error out to you. And so that you can get a better impression of the error, I have this for you: So, what can you do wrong when deleting a cookie?

  2. As of lately, it's on and off. I'd suggest to wait while it settles down.

  4. @NotHereToPlayGames writes everywhere he's on Win 10. Not sure whether it's 32 or 64 bit. Not sure about the version, either.

  5. It's not off-topic because what you claim you did (changing cipher suites) also leads to the changes in those other HTTP2 fingerprints, but not akamai. But you misunderstood as usual, and rude as usual. The moderators will decide who posts off-topic, not you.

  6. We have no way of knowing what you had done to change the values, the screens only show the result, but not the process.

  7. Fantastic translation! @AstroSkipper is fluent in French! I'm very proud of you, @AstroSkipper. As for the second part, Durov is a French citizen, probably not everyone knows. So he'd br extradited to France anyways, most likely. https://www.lemonde.fr/en/france/article/2023/06/26/the-telegram-founder-s-mysterious-french-passport_6037748_7.html "Pavel Durov, the head of the controversial messaging app, was granted French citizenship in 2021..."

  8. 347.90 came out after, it even includes Titan X. I think the first driver to officially support 950 is 347.09 or 347.25. I was asking about the brightness changes.

  9. Looks like some artificially implemented block, like in the case with Nvidia drivers capped to low refresh rates. H265 10bit works in the driver 382.16 (if you followed my written tutorial). Or in the driver 398.11 made by win32, but for 398.11 you need to have the ex-kernel installed.

  10. Vista boots up and is overall much faster than Win7, but I always ran it on Intel, maybe it's AMD specific only. I'm not sure what good all those outdated patches can achieve though.

  11. Looks like it's simply another telemetry for USB introduced with Win7. That logger can be safely disabled, if I'm not mistaken, it wasn't even active in the original Vista without that KB. https://df-stream.com/2014/01/the-windows-7-event-log-and-usb-device/

  12. Thank you for the test, 372.60 is also my favourite, it's a leaked developer driver which was acquired by iCafe. 372.70 is of course the usual throttling crap. Mind me asking, is there a benefit of using 6003 Vista over 6002 build? I didn't like 6003, it gave me slower performance overall.

  14. Wrong, it won't change the HTTP/2 Fingerprint (akamai hash), for example. Besides, it will make you unique, so you again gave a bad advice on MSFN.

  16. Of course, it is not related to the rebase of DLL files. I didn't claim that either. It is an old, well-known problem that, however, can be curbed, but only in multiprocess mode. In single-process mode, considerably more memory is not released after tabs are closed, at least on my system. Anyway! There is more to be done to free up memory. One measure I already recommended is the periodical memory minimisation which should be done automatically.

  17. Here is a review of Huorong Internet Security v6: https://malwaretips.com/threads/huorong-internet-security-v6-finale.132002/ And the test results are rather disastrous. There is still a lot of room for improvement. So I can't agree with your assessment.

  18. Have you also checked this tip? You know the proof is in the pudding. The scan engine vsapi32.dll in the version 22.610.0.1017 inside the attk_ScanCleanOffline_gui_x86.exe file does not work properly in Trend Micro Sysclean. In my test scan, this engine leads to errors documented in the report.log file. However, the scan engine vsapi32.dll in the version 21.600.0.1007 inside this archive does the trick: http://files.trendmicro.com/products/engine/VSAPI/21600/dll/VSAPI-NT-DLL-21.600-1007.ZIP Please correct this in your post, too! After performing a scan, the report isn't displayed by the tool. You have to open the report.log file manually. All in all, I don't like this tool. It's too old and does not directly show information about the scan process. Furthermore, too less features and only a very few options. But it is indeed able to scan files even today. And the most recent pattern files are still compatible with this old tool.

  19. @dmiranda All your download links for pattern files are not working. For example, your link https://downloadcenter.trendmicro.com/index.php?clk=tab_pattern&clkval=31®s=uk for the spyware pattern file does not do anything. The correct link has to be: https://downloadcenter.trendmicro.com/index.php?clk=tab_pattern&clkval=31&regs=nabu&lang_loc=1 where you can download the file ssaptn763.zip by this link: https://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/products/aupattern/spyware_ssaptn/ssaptn763.zip Please correct all your links so that they are really working! After first launch of the sysclean.com file and copying all extracted files to another location, the trick to avoid deleting all files inside the Sysclean folder is to always start the tool by applying the file sysclean.exe instead of sysclean.com.

  20. @dmiranda I have listed Trend Micro Sysclean first of all in the third post of this thread: https://msfn.org/board/topic/184730-antimalware-firewall-and-other-security-programs-for-windows-xp-working-in-2023-and-hopefully-beyond/?do=findComment&comment=1244366

  22. Thanks for the reminder and further information! You had already mentioned Huorong Internet Security here: https://msfn.org/board/topic/184730-antimalware-firewall-and-other-security-programs-for-windows-xp-working-in-2023-and-hopefully-beyond/?do=findComment&comment=1256082 Unfortunately, no-one except you and me had provided any further information about this programme. It has therefore been forgotten again due to a general lack of interest as usual. What I personally don't like about this manufacturer is the homepage, which is apparently only available in Chinese. And even the downloadable manuals are only in Chinese. Online translators still have problems with Chinese. Google translated Huorong as Tinder. On purpose or by chance? I do not hope Huorong is Tinder related. And the few tests that I have briefly looked through are not particularly positive either. Except for the fact that it is compatible with Windows XP, which is of course great. Long story short. What about storage space, RAM utilisation, processor load and detection rates?

  23. The file nssdbm3.dll is missing in your sequence compared with the ones in the previous posts. On purpose or by chance? And why do you think the sequence of the DLL file series is of importance? BTW, I wrote: What are your observations when comparing single-process mode with multiprocess mode in terms of rebasing the DLL file series?

  26. You can now modify setupldr.bin of the follwing windows: Windows Server 2003 SP1 Windows XP Professional x64 Edition Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition Windows PE 2005 The setupldr.bin of the above versions is the same and has a checksum check built-in so when you try to modify it you get: "NTLDR is corrupt. The system cannot boot." In order to crack it: open it with your favorite hex editor goto hex address: 0x2060 change "74 03" to "EB 1A" save it I also uploaded it for your convenience at: File is now attached so people don't have to wait for a download ~ Alanoll Now you can replace: all occurrences of "i386", "I386" to "ABCD" (where ABCD is anything you want - 4 characters long) "\amd64", "\AMD64" to "\EFGHI" and "amd64\", "AMD64\" to "EFGHI\" (where EFGHI is anything you want - 5 characters long) Do not replace all occurrences of "amd64" since some of them refer to a section of txtsetup.sif In order to find what files need to be copied to the directories ABCD and EFGHI open command prompt, go to the directory you have txtsetup.sif and enter: type TXTSETUP.SIF | findstr /r ",_[1-9] ,[1-9]_" and copy the files listed there from I386 to ABCD and AMD64 to EFGHI. For anyone curious, open the setupldr.bin with hiew, goto the above hex address and see the surrounding assembly code. cracked_SETUPLDR_1_.BIN.zip
