It's like @Cocodilesaid, one hell of a coincidence to be just a "speculation". How do you know about AI? Do you work with it? Yes, I agree with you, let's hope the Kamshersky gang don't show up here, without them we're having a nice, calm conversation. And I'm pretty sure @Cocodilewas joking about punishments, he will let you go free.3 points

Many companies these days observe what's going on with their PR on social media with the help of AI, so the theory is quite valid. Chrome devs look like the ones who would it. Example, Opera has embedded AI for several versions already. But like I wrote before, we have to wait, because 119 is still beta.2 points

Thanks for the info! Too early to be sure though, since this one is still beta.2 points

You mean silent DirectX RePack, right? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/repack-directx-end-user-runtime-june-2010.84785/ Just use /ai or /y switches to make it Unattended.1 point

As you surely know, in the software requirements of PCMark04, you can find Windows Media Player listed in the version 9 only. The slightly worse performance with Windows Media Player 11 may well be due to the fact that PCMark04 has not been adapted to this newer WMP version. Apart from that, your measured performance difference is only marginal. I have carried out several tests, and the results were never the same.1 point
-
No. Install it and check via MU/WU if there are updates available! On my Windows XP system, an update for the Windows Media Encoder 9 was offered.1 point
-
Does anyone know why only this test failed? PCMark05 otherwise ran smoothly and had nothing to complain about.1 point

The GeForce 6200 AGP is indeed a good one. It is absolutely silent as my version is passively cooled. Unfortunately, my motherboard supports only AGP 4x although the GeForce 6200 is an AGP 8x one. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-6200-agp.c24191 point

@AstroSkipper I just repacked PCMark05 aswell. Silent WinRAR SFX and of course with correct key too. https://mega.nz/file/42lWza4A#zBnBzJ6EFdOuefA5yWTzIwwtk6LaPbjhI2OdD9-nBdM1 point

@NotHereToPlayGames BTW, here is the corrected link in the way uCyborg posted it: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Pentium-4-280GHz-vs-Intel-Atom-N450/m3163vsm31901 point

Thanks for the link! However, I never used 3DMark before as I am not a gamer. The graphics on my Windows XP computer is very weak anyways.1 point

You are grabbing values from the System Test Suite. These values are not CPU-specific. That's what the CPU Test Suite is for.1 point
-
No. What am I to win here? I already lost. As I already stated, your CPU is definitely weaker than mine. But how much weaker can only investigated if there are meaningful values. It can only be solved statistically and thus mathematically.1 point
-
You are somehow talking your head off here. You and only you were trying, statistically completely absurdly, to make a statement about how much faster my CPU is than yours from artificial, completely arbitrarily defined values. And by that I mean the CPU score, since you didn't offer detailed values. That is statistically and mathematically pure nonsense. If you really want to know more about our CPUs in a more meaningful way, you have to compare the values in the section CPU Test Suite to get information how many times faster my CPU is than yours. So please be more serious when making statements!1 point

Oh, don't worry, no hurry to reply. There's a war against VPN going on, Reddit banned VPN, as well as Instagram and all similar. What are we even talking about?! They all want your phone number. Internet privacy is no more.1 point

I had it off, which is done by a couple of clicks in Vista, and you will have an identical XP looking fonts. https://techjourney.net/disable-and-turn-off-cleartype-fonts-in-windows-vista/ In Win7 it's simply impossible to achieve, 7's fonts are ugly and blurry, no matter what you do.1 point
-
I only use the default fonts, I don't change or install custom fonts, and yes, my video driver is too very old. I have GTX TItan 6GB, it's over a decade old, outdated card of Vista era.1 point
-
Unfortunately fonts depend on the browser version, not their themes, I had encountered different quality of fonts and levels of brightness from one version to another, that's why I decided to stick with the older versions. From what I remember, 2036 was too oversaturated and bright, with less defined fonts (not sharp). Early 13.5 were good. 13.0.2036.0 simply terrible to my taste. This one, 2044 has less clear fonts than 1030, again to my taste.1 point

Someone already tried Chromium dev.120.0.6047.0 (1205234)? • Wednesday, 4 Oct 20231 point

That's not what I said. We can't say yes or no. A Boolean evaluation is not possible. Both is possible. That's what I said.1 point

I think that in these times, where AI is being used more and more, anything is conceivable. Nowadays, even pupils and students have their papers or other essays written by an AI. Ultimately, however, every theory has to be proven, in whatever but correct way. Nevertheless, in today's times, I believe everything is possible. So, the question is not so easy to answer in a Boolean way as you stated. To do this, one would have to analyse the data collected by Google and the Chrome developers, which is not so easy for outsiders. Unless you are a genius hacker. Or, statements would have to be found somewhere that suggest that MSFN actually exerts such a great influence.1 point

Hello guys! I noticed that you mentioned me. Unfortunately, I have not followed everything in detail. Therefore, I would be happy to know which view on which matter is involved here. I have said so many things, so a little tip for an old fart would be quite helpful.1 point

I checked that file, and it remains unchanged, even when I install all of that 6003 series upgrades. (looks like it's from the original SP2, released on April 2009)1 point

I tend to disagree, I noticed the overall speed of booting increased, some games gave more FPS, not like it's night a day difference, but noticeable on my old PC, especially good when used with ex-kernel. It's trial and error, actually, I had to test lots of them, before I found that good one.1 point
-
Found an easy and fast way to replicate SP2 with nothing, except: Install in order 1 - KB971512 2 - KB2117917 3 - Apply redirecting via registry 4 - Install one of these non-beta monthly rollups (like KB4487023, KB4480968, kb 4493471). 5 - Reboot 6 - Place kernel, shell, user locally, you will see no dialogs open at all.1 point

win32, thank you for the quick response, I tried all monthly rollups (non-beta), basically any update, besides the well known April 09 [all them] lead to this issue. Even these ones. March 12, 2019—KB4489880 (Monthly Rollup) February 12, 2019—KB4487023 (Monthly Rollup) But I have poor performance with the April 09 rollup (spectrum "fix"?), so I have no choice. If in uninstall all of them and revert back to the state before, reboot, the issue is still there. Very strange.1 point
