and gdiplus.dll 5.2.6002.22509 from KB2412687 isn't slipstreamed. It'll probably have to go to HFSVCPACK_SW1.

I compared a vanilla installation of Windows XP SP3 (original CD from MS) with manually installation of KB2412687 against a Windows XP compiled by HFSLIP with updates until Dec. 2011:

The following gdiplus.dlls I have found:

(1) plain Windows XP SP3 + manually installed KB2412687:

c:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.Windows.GdiPlus_6595b64144ccf1df_1.0.0.0_x-ww_8d353f13\GdiPlus.dll

c:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.Windows.GdiPlus_6595b64144ccf1df_1.0.2600.5512_x-ww_dfb54e0c\GdiPlus.dll

c:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.Windows.GdiPlus_6595b64144ccf1df_1.0.6002.22509_x-ww_c7dad023\GdiPlus.dll

(2) Windows XP / HFSLIP with updates until Dec. 2011:

C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.Windows.GdiPlus_6595b64144ccf1df_1.0.0.0_x-ww_8d353f13\GdiPlus.dll

C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.Windows.GdiPlus_6595b64144ccf1df_1.0.6002.22509_x-ww_c7dad023\GdiPlus.dll

KB2412687 includes Gdiplus.dll version 5.2.6002.22509. So it seems that HFSLIP can handle it.

But I was surprised that in (a) was one more gdiplus.dll. (1) is my base for creating current Windows-XP-CDs by HFSLIP - that means (2) based on Windows XP of (1).

Hey, Mimo, as a side note, MU/WU does not ask for 2264107 (the library loading thingie) any more (not as a high priority update, neither as an optional one).

Maybe it's safe to remove it from your list and the file checker?

bye!

2264107 contains:

- Mrxdav.sys --> 5.1.2600.6007

- Ntdll.dll --> 5.1.2600.6007

Ntdll.dll in 2264107 is obsolete because it was replaced by Ntdll.dll 5.1.2600.6055 what is part of 2393802 (MS11-011).

But I didn't found something what Mrxdav.sys makes obsolete. So I think 2264107 should still be used.

But why isn't MU/WU asking for it? Or it never did and it was a by-request HF?

As far as I found out: 2264107 was never offered via MU/WU

what's that?

Edit:

OK, got it!

I'm from chile. Does this superseed the latest TZ update?

The only good thing this administration has done, is extending the daylght saving time...

I'm off to get it, then.

thx, guys!

Edit: it's a by-request-only HF, you have to fill a form, etc, to get it.

bye!

Edit2: it replaces 2657025, right?

BTW, 2657025 wasn't very well known. MU is pushing 2633952 as the latest TZ update. So, I believe it's safe to say that 2681116 replaces 2657025 AND/OR 2633952 (whichever you have)

c ya!
