I can confirm this also, well spotted Mcv'93.

The inf.file in the package seems fine but the file packaged is indeed 6.00.2800.1612. Obviously an oversight by MD.

However I extracted 6.00.2800.1637 from the Security Update for IE6 for Windows 2000 and replaced the older vgx.dll with the newer version and all is working fine on both my 98SE  and 98SE2ME boxes.

2) I see a blank error box about msjava, I not have msjava installed but Java SUN.

After the update is installed right click context menu for .vbs files is reset.

Not very important for those who don't work with vbs files, but now you know it.

Still got the "This update will only install on an existing VM version" warning (OSOTE).

Besides these everything works fine.
