smithxi Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Please only answer this question if you know for sure! Please!I have a 4-pin from my power supply going to a 4-pin fan, going to another 4-pin fan, and ending. Will my fans work like this, or do I need connect the end of the last fan in for them to work? I can't test it out yet because I don't have my processor yet, and I want to know for sure if it will work before I boot. Thanks in advance.
jroc Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 (edited) your post makes no sense what so ever.....how is the last fan not plugged in? lol....power supply to fan..then brigded to another fan works...what is left that you want to plug in..another brigde connection....most motherboards have extra fan connections....for CPU and Chassis...usually the one from the power supply also monitors the RPM so brigding it shouldn't be done. puntoMX Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 "Please only answer this question if you know for sure! Please!"... Any way, it will work . Don´t be scared to try things out when you build your own computer... Just one thing, don´t connect a harddrive after those fans, that is asking for trouble, other then that everything else will work fine.
Jeremy Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Uhm, don't be afraid. You can try it first, it won't blow your PC up... at least I don't think it will. Be strong, brother.

PuntoMX answered my lame F****** question, t.y..those fans have a power in and power out. the power in on plugs in one way, so as long as thats is attached to some sore of power cable then you are fine.
