DaveXP Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 which program are people using to make these screens is it
Bachus Posted August 17, 2003 Posted August 17, 2003 I'd attempt to make a chrome setup screen, but unless I can change the text color it would be a little hard to read (not that anyone pays attention to the text anyway...).
b0r3d Posted August 18, 2003 Author Posted August 18, 2003 which program are people using to make these screens is it I use photoshop 7
MacGuFF Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 b0r3d, i solved the same problem with photoshop 7.create a new RGB file and do not change into an indexed colours file.do your picture.menu -> save as internetselect gif and 256 colours.close photoshop and convert the gif into bmp using acdsee like tool and it's ok.Photoshop doesn't like bmp file !!MGFF

perco Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 I386\SYSTEM32\SMSSI386\WINNTBBA.DLLI386\WINNTBBU.DLLI386\WINNT32U.DLLI386\USETUP.EXEthat all i found so far.Hi, I came across a link to this thread on another forum and thought I might give this a go. I went looking through the i386 folder on my XP CD and found all these files except winntbbu.dll, there is however a winntbbu.dl_ file.Do I decompress this file ("expand -r winntbbu.dl_" - found this command in the Completed XP Setup Screens thread) or should there be a winntbbu.dll file as well?
DaveXP Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 There should be a winntbbu.dll and a winntbbu.dl_ but if you only have one one decompress change it and then recompress it.
MaLi Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 Does this work in WMWare ?I tried to alter my winntbbu.dll file (compressed it and replaced the old one), but it won't show the image. I downloaded an existing modded file with the same problem.Any ideas ?Thanks,Magnus
