  • first of all you need to download "reshack" then
  • go to your windows cd.
  • locate where winnt_bbu.dl_ is
  • copy that to a folder of your choice (for example c:\setupscreen\)
  • open command prompt (type cmd at run)
  • go to c:\setupscreen folder, to do that
    • type cd\ to get to root of c drive
    • then type cd setupscreen
    • now it should look like c:\setupscreen

[*]then you need to extract the winnt_bbu.dl_ to obtain winnt_bbu.dll

    [*]to do that:

    • expand -r winnt_bbu.dl_
    • you'll see that file in the folder.

    [*]then open up reshacker

    [*]open the winnt_bbu.dll

[*]try to explore some parts of it by clicking on the menu on the left

then refer to this page http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=8385

hope it helps .....

i suggest you look at a different thread. This one is quite old.
The newer thread has more details.

I want to see what is going on when Winxp install something.

So if i do a clean installation i see a installation screen.
