March 27, 200620 yr Microsoft isn't giving away beta 1, or the technical refresh for that matter either, you have to be a beta tester or have a technet or MSDN account
March 31, 200620 yr arstechnica has been running a video made by MS to show off the benefits of Office 2k7 and boy am I impressed. It seems just **** easy to use! And intuitive!
May 24, 200620 yr Well today is my first day as a beta tester and I have downloaded and installed office 2007 beta with no problem however I am not sure if I need to activate the product or not If I try it says it cannot find a connection however Outlook is running fine and has no problems with connection. I uninstalled IE7 beta just in case it was the cause, it made no difference. At the risk of making myself look silly should the activation work,? It does have a licence.Take careDave
May 24, 200620 yr Thanks Fizban2I was not sure because the activation wizard was displayed.Take careDave
May 24, 200620 yr no activation is done with the office products... just the cd-KEY is neededAre you sure about this? I downloaded it , used the key and the activation window pops up telling me that I need to activate it with "X" number of uses left. Can't connect though and according to the MS Office discussion group there are a lot of people who can't activate their copy either.
