why aside from those places? newegg is one of the cheapest places to get media.

Well.. i guess being a mod doesn't make you perfect.

i dont know how or why you became a mod when you practically dont know anything about hardware anyways.

you made dozens of useless post months ago about each hardware you were going to purchase.

i guess they couldn't find anyone else.

Wow...that was uncalled for.

And being a moderator of the Hardware forum doesn't mean he has to know everything about hardware...it just means he has to know how to keep the peace on a forum...such as banning people who attempt to start flame wars. I suggest you look up the term moderator.

that was uncalled for. and did you just go and search for all of the threads i've started? over a year ago i did'nt know too much but i've reallt gotten into hardware and throughout the last year i have researched alot of stuff. obviously there is still more for me to learn but there is alot that i already know and i have helped alot of people out.

now back to the question i asked before, which in no way suppose to attack you. why aside from those places? i was saying that newegg is a cheap place for media and you attacked me saying that i dont know what i'm talking about. so are you saying that newegg is a bad place to but thing from and that they are expensive?

I'll take on tempuser if that's what she really looks like. But back on topic, try the store: kmart, walmart, target, frys, circuit city, costco... take ur pick.

[EDIT]

I forgot to add compgeeks.com, pcclub.com, ebay.com, overstock.com.....

m3n70r- non-online stores are killers when it comes to prices. i love going to walmart and seeing 50 dvds:

vs newegg

tempuser-you should get memorax, verbatim, or ridata brand media

You can catch some good deals in stores sometimes but you really have to watch. I managed to pick up a 100 pack of Memorex DVD+R's for $30 in an Oklahoma City CompUSA while I was on vacation last month.

ya, that is a nice deal, but you do have to watch, and when you do you hit the jackpot. you prolly wont see a deal like that for another year.
