phatcat42141 Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 i say dell(i forgot to add the pole sry)I say "Custom Built" Mine has a bit of everything in it lol
Daemonforce Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Custom for my servers. It suffers intermittent crashes if I don't build it.Dell gives purpose to things like Drive Image and Ghost. I've been working with this computer for 5 years and I still haven't needed either program for it. I'm not going to look to Dell if they start selling AMDs either. Like that will ever happen...lol
Gouki Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 I will have to choose Custom Built. No one better than us to decide what we need inside our case, or in some cases, what we dont need.
Martijn Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 I have a Dell PC but I prefer my Packard Bell laptop over it
Nerwin Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Dell sucks. Custom Build All The Way.Same for me.
phatcat42141 Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 I have to admit it now I have a computer case made by Dell but the only other thing in the case by dell is one of my memory sticks. lol But everything else is from everywhere else.
wolf7448 Posted December 29, 2005 Author Posted December 29, 2005 (edited) may i remind people this is not a dissussion of wheather dell "sucks" or not, back on topic if we could, thank you Edited December 29, 2005 by wolf7448
oldwolf Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 (edited) home madehavent had a brand name since the commodore 64 Edited December 29, 2005 by oldwolf
Thunderbolt 2864 Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Custom built. Its more cheaper without all that unnecessary computer software.
Jeremy Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 may i remind people this is not a dissussion of wheather dell "sucks" or not, back on topic if we could, thank youI consider it quite relevant to the topic, actually. The more users that help other users realize how crappy Dell is will hopefully influence more and more users to use their heads and build their PCs and feel good about what's inside their case, instead of worrying how long it will run before overheating.

Jeremy Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Ok, ok, fair game. Well, it's been established that not many people like Dell. How about we have people specify the brands/manufacturers of the various parts in their PCs?I have AMD, Antec, BenQ, OCZ, DFI, and Nvidia.
