October 29, 200520 yr R O F L! thats so my house when the internet goes down... i'll be sleeping and my dad will come in and wake me up tell me the internet is down and i instantly get up and fix it lolz.
November 9, 200520 yr That scared me, daddy, tell me it will never happen? Actually, in my working environment, we have 40 or so ppl that rely on the internet for all interaction with the outside world. When it goes down it is usually the satellite system (ie the phones etc are down too) and I get dragged out of bed to fix. Imagine a whole ship behaving like that - it's like something out of resident evil.We have also had serious discussions on if it was possible to get dial-up over the marine VHF.......SP
