tain
I recommend that you go ahead and use the current pack. The only one I can think of off-hand that has been updated is the xvid codec (and qt/real). There may be others, but they would be trivial to update later.xvid is famous for having re-installation issues, but I don't know that the problems occur when using packs like this. It could be limited to the xvid installer.
Kiki Burgh
sir are we not going to have something like what was posted earlier ... some zipped file which has it all & that we could just extract to HFEXPERT\CODECS?

tain
kiki, the first thing I'll do is update the existing pack. AFter that, I'll be making separate zips for each codec for those who dont want to install everything.I am packing my bags now and will be on the highway home soon. Hopefully my new eyeballs can get me through 13 hours of driving!

I didn't get the quick-healing LASIK; PRK takes longer to heal up. I've been lucky enough to have a good deal of time off of work because of the surgery and that time has allowed me to catch up on some projects like this. Kiki Burgh
works like a charm Tain! i will have no need to install Codec Pack All in 1 6.0.3.0 or XP Codec Pack 1.3.4 or K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.53, correct? thanks!eagerly awaiting for your zipped codecs ... tain
Installing those other packs is up to you...if all of your movies play fine then there is no reason to install them. If you have movies that don't play then let me know and I'll see if we can fix the pack.I put together some codec test movies to facilitate testing of this sort.It will be another week or so on the separate packs. I am in the middle of a marathon work week right now but then I get a nice chunk of time off. Edited June 23, 2006 by TAiN
