xtremexxx
As it says. I read dozens on pages here on MSFN about defrag software, and different reviews. I for one dunno what to think. I'll let the majority rule in here The actual debate is withing the top3 there anyway I believe. So start voting ! and DON'T go pasting me the link to the other thread, that is NOT a poll as it should have been. thanks. fillalph
I use O&O, but I noticed in Task Manager the process: oodag.exe taking up ~4mb of ram and I don't have any background scanning scheduled or anything. I only want to use it manually.Does perfect disk also have something run in the background?I hardly ever defrag (I just reformat ) so is there something lighter (in terms of process etc.) that does also a good job?]Bonkers[
Zxian
You can set both services of PerfectDisk to manual. That way, they'll start when they're needed, but won't bother you otherwise.
