bmn Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 nice glent.thanks.**its off topic, but is it possible to get this oob screen in unattended setup.will it disturb my post installation of appz(with wpi etc)
Ðrзω™ Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 nice work glent... goes well with the rest of your mods & xpize
glent Posted August 15, 2005 Author Posted August 15, 2005 (edited) @bmn You need to add entries to your winnt.sif in order for oobe to run after the installation is complete, I think you need to have[unattended]UnattendSwitch = NoAnd no this wont affect WPI etc Edited August 15, 2005 by glent
BoardBabe Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 (edited) Images are gone edit: never mind Edited August 16, 2005 by BoardBabe
Mojo Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Thanks, Glent, will look into this.Btw - i see u used printscreen to take screenshots, but since you're using VMWare, you can just click File > Capture screen. Just a tip!
matthewk Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 The images look like my default windows setup screen. I'm really confused. Maybe they just look really close. Will this effect the other screens? My UA skips the above ones
SiMoNsAyS Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 i assume it will not work for all language versions
Tsunami Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 only the images are replaced, not the dlls with the strings, so it should work for all languages.
Nepali Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 my xp is unattended,, i need to skip this step,, so this file doesn't mean anything for unattended installation.also nothing special has been changed in the ... just few which is not cared very much...must of the user say it's as usual..try to make it hot and different
Kelsenellenelvian Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Did xpero include this in XPize 4.0 ???
glent Posted September 30, 2005 Author Posted September 30, 2005 yes this is now inlcuded in the xpize i386 patching
