bledd
does anyone find that after using alcohol, your cd drive names don't refresh?.. (when using real discs)is there a fix for this? (besides restarting pc!)
bledd
4- Can put info and comments on each CD like for instance e.g Serial NumberNo, and the reason being that Alcohol's main purpose is to image CD/DVD games so you can play them as if they were the original. Modifying the disc to add files and such to them defeats the purpose because the disc could no longer be authenticated.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>this could be done by alcohol if they stored the 'comments' in a text file on that machine (and not altering the disc), if you're on the support team, maybe you can suggest this? prathapml
does anyone find that after using alcohol, your cd drive names don't refresh?.. (when using real discs)is there a fix for this? (besides restarting pc!)<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Yes, this is because alcohol setup disables autorun.Enable it back again, and it will be fine. Also, one more tip you could use, is to add your alcohol or Nero ImageDrive in the OpenWith right-click option. That way, Right-click your .BIN or .ISO or .NRG, and openwith <app> and instantly that image is seen mounted in your virtual drive!
-M-
I use Alcohol. I just prefer professional software to freak-software. By the way, who the hell has autorun enabled?! My godness that feature sucks, really.
