lol, may I ask why DOS is include? first off I dont even think its an OS but wot da heck, and I really doubt this will crash or lock up, unless you're having an OC' operation..

My vote goes out to XP..

Well first off Dos is a OS....but besides that...i think that a well maitained clean Win2k is the most stable Os of all time.....its beating linix and unix for server longevity, and after using it all my older rig...its definatly on of the best Oses of all time...Not to mention Xp is built on top of a Win2k kernal...

I believe XP is the most stable... once has it crashed on me.. and when i had WinME, average of 5 times a week it would crash :)

XP it is for me, ive used 3.1, 95, 98, 2k, ME and XP and its been the most reliable for me. Although 2K is second and 3.1 in third position.

its quite easy.. type lots of letters and press enter similtaneously w00t

my old 3.1 system never crashed ever. and granted had no problems with 98 at all. i do not trust xp yet....my pics are 2000 , 98, and 3.1....granted xenix never crashed either. and dos was the good

I was always a fan of Win 2000, never ever had a fault with it..but xp is doing fine for the moment :)

How could DOS not be the most stable? I'd like to see you crash DOS  :)

Id have to agree with that....!
