TheeBeets Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Compile an Iso using nLite and burn with Alcahol120%
jbm Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 If your using Nero you can click on the recorder menu and chooseburn image. choose the image you used to test on VPC and Nero willburn it to CD for you.
Nepali Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 choose the working ISO image that to tested in virtual PC / vmware and burn it with nero
Railman5 Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 Wow!Thanks for all the help guys.It seems I would have trashed a couple of Disks ding it my way.I've heard about this Alcohol program. I'm going to investigate further.Assume I can get it from Download.com?
dirtwarrior Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I have been using Nero for years without any problems. The answer to your question is to use the iso image as it is the cleanest sourse then use "burn image to cd" option
Railman5 Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 I tend to agree with Nepali, and dirtwarrior.Nero seems a pretty easy reliable(!) app.and as I have it already I shall use it.could start a little poll here.........
Wraith Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Nero does not optimise the iso's as far as I know, so duplicated files will take up more space, instead of taking up the sapce of a single one.Use cdimage.
Railman5 Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 Hmmm....See I'm gonna have to open up the old research brain cells and start digging around for best case solutions.Anybody else have preferences to cutting CD unattended images to run?I just want the best most easy to use option.
Nepali Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 i hope this will be the perfect answerto build the ISO:for newbies CDimage will messed up a lotso better CDIMAGE GUI version to build the ISO with optimize optionanother is ultraiso which also have optimize option but the compression is not good as cdimageFor burning: ucan use whatever u find the easiest and user friendly softwaresNeroCDimageultraisoalcholeeasy cd creatormkisoblah blah blahit is on u whatever u choose
Railman5 Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 OK Nepali.Great input.looks like I got me a little job with trying out all these options.Me now locked in cupboard installing and playing around with all the apps to see which is best for whatever.hmm.I'll keep anybody remotely interested in due course.watch this post..
maxXPsoft Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Best yet, have Nero and UltraISO installed and double click the ISO to use UltraISO to burn the ISO Image.UltraISO will use the Nero burning api but who cares.I do this probably minimum 5 times a week with new images in my tests.
