I tried this method. Kinda pointless unless you *cough*buy*cough* the product. There are much cheaper and freer alternatives out there. I personally use RunHiddenConsole.exe, and a cmd file (at least for msiexec installs).

Hhahaha at using a batch compiler to get the app to launch.

There is another method for this if you really dont want any command window ;)

There is a very nice version of the 7zip SFX module, and a tiny utility (by the same author) to hide command window.

I don't know why the author is so shy to show it to the ppl, but some of us are using it for a long time already.
