it is a media player with its own codecs, plays evrything ive thrown at it so far

Klite codec pack is the best ive found so far but as ripken says Vlc still beats having any codec pack as its yet to fail at playing anything ive thrown at it either.

I think K-Lite Mega Codec Pack is the best. Why? Because include:

- all needed codecs to play audio, video, realtime and quicktime files;

- browser plugin for QuickTime and RealTime

- Media Player Classic - player for all known media files - audio, video, real media, quick time... ALL!

- Codec Tools

I use ACE Mega Codecs........it's got a lot in it, but come to think of it I heard some people say it may be illegal......anyone know?

ACE contains spyware. I am 100% sure, because I have tryed this codecpack.

the best their is is the klite codec megapack play every single media file you can imagine and even encode them! everything from real alternitive quicktime alternitive media player classic and bs player with all teh codecs.
