Zxian Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 I have mine set to Classic View for when I actually open it up.Most of the time though, the Control Panel is expanded from my start menu, with only the entries that I can't find elsewhere on my system. For example, I don't have the display properties in the control panel, since I can access them by right-clicking on the desktop.
Martin Zugec Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 Same like Zxian, however I am using control command... For common stuff I am using shortcuts (like winkey + Break etc...)
Martin Zugec Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 2ripken: You broke the chain You should post something like "same as Bashrat"
Zxian Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 ^^ lol... should I start some circular reasoning...?Same as Soulin... oh... and ripken204, you never said what style you used... classic or category.
ripken204 Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 it doesnt matter which one i use tho b/c i never open up the actual control panel, i set the option so that in the start menu the conrtol panel is also a menu
DigeratiPrime Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 I use classic view and have the "common tasks" in folder options turned off. I've never tried using the expanding control panel in the start menu, can someone post the reg tweak for that?
Zxian Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 It's right in the classic Start Menu optionsStart->Settings->taskbar and Start Menu->Start Menu->CustomizeCheck mark beside "Expand Control Panel".Regtweaks... some people try too hard...
