Daos Posted April 22, 2005 Author Posted April 22, 2005 i tried it, but it didnt work :( . thanks for trying tho. any other suggestions plz?
Daos Posted April 22, 2005 Author Posted April 22, 2005 reshacker cant edit icons in compressed exes.
LeveL Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 I guess no one ever did work this out? There are all sorts of icon extractor programs but I guessall of them, like ResHacker, will have the same problem with the Opera.exe icon?If Windows can show it then whats the problem?I mean WTF is a "compressed EXE"??? If Windows can handleit (it can show the icon) but ResHacker can't? Thats just idiotic!
LLXX Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 (edited) Bored? No, probably wants to make it look like IE B) You can use a hex editor. Copy + Paste. The icon should be somewhere near the end of the file. Edited December 18, 2006 by LLXX

Mamoun Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 If you want to change only the opera icon displayed when opened not the exe itself:1- Enter Opera:config in your opera2- Click UserPrefs3- Scroll to Application Icon property4- Now type the custom icon urlRestart Opera.
