Hi. I have to install win98 on a system where win2000 is installed. Fortunetelly there are partitions created. :)

But now i have a few questions:

* is it possible to make it??

* what about the partitions?? both must be active??

* what with the boot loader?? which one would you use??

Oh if you have some links to site where this problem is solved please pt them here. thx

Windows 9x support install/boot only on primary partition.

If you're using NTFS on Primary partition, second FAT(32) Primary partiton must be created. Main Primary partition should be inactive and hidden to minimize data loss risk.

If you're using FAT(32), you should install 9x on it.

Use "Install Operating System" wizard in PowerQuest Partiton Magic. It will do everything automatically. Do not forget to create rescue disks!
