New Way Of Playing Song

Recommended Posts

i dont know whether it has been already discussed or not

but i have found a new way of playing songs at unattended installation stage

there is a software called mp3 to exe

Google search link

http://www.google.com/search?q=mp3 to exe download

Direct download link

ftp://gatekeeper.dec.com/pub/micro/pc/sim...nv/mp3exe26.zip

then convert the song u want to play into exe

all set

put the entry into the batch file or whereever , from where you want to play the song

upon finish the song (the exe ) will automatically close so no need to use any taskkill

though u can use it if the song is of longer duration and your installation process completes before the song's timeout

put these entries in the batch file

ECHO.

ECHO Starting Song

start %systemdrive%\install\song.exe

hope u all will like my suggestion

Just a thought: has anyone tried converting the mp3s to exe files on a Win 9x/NT system and then running the exe on an XP system? With virtual PC software such as VPC or VMware I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to get a system up and running quickly with one of the older systems to try it out...
